【大纪元8月6日讯】随着奥运临近，“全民死保奥运平安”的弦越绷越紧。北京市早就赶走了数百万民工和三十多万“漂流族”，人们出门必须带身份证、暂住证等，以应付随时的检查，80多万军警、150万安保以及更多带红袖章的“自愿巡逻者”，令整个北京处于“半军事”管制状态。
有评论说，不只北京，连广东都俨如进入“半戒严”状态了。奥运本来是件高兴的事，比如上两届的雅典和悉尼奥运会，都开成了各国民众狂欢的嘉年华会，街头遍布各类表演和民间音乐会，而这次北京的景象却大不相同，到处是草木皆兵，全民皆兵的沉重感受，让人觉得非常憋气压抑，总有一种挥之不去的不祥之感。
