制止中共迫害保护在美自由民主斗士人身安全的签名信
致美国政府、美国参众两院、联邦调查局及国土安全部：
近日，著名民主斗士、“六四”镇压的幸存者、在美受政治避难保护的唐柏桥先生，在美国大都会纽约遭到中共指使的多名打手严重暴力攻击，致使其脸部和手部等多处受伤。此前，唐柏桥先生已遭到过多次不同程度的暴力攻击和死亡威胁。唐柏桥之所以受到这样的攻击，是因为他坚定的支持法轮功反迫害、支持退党运动、参加过渡政府和反对中共，因此这是一起发生在美国本土的恶性的政治谋害事件。这种政治谋害事件，已不是第一次发生，但我们希望是最后一次。此前，大纪元技术总监李渊，支持法轮功的民主人士卞和祥先生、刘国华先生及法拉盛退党服务中心多名义工，都遭到过类似不同程度的死亡威胁和暴力攻击。在美国以外，中共也制造了多起暴力事件，如暴力殴打香港律师何俊仁，策划谋杀香港民主党领袖李柱铭先生和香港民主人士李卓仁先生。
最近几年来在中国国内，不仅像法轮功、上访民众及异议人士经常遭到中共的黑社会式暴力攻击，很多维权律师同样遭到类式性质的暴力攻击，如高智晟、李和平、郭飞雄、杨在新、程海、严义明、张凯及李春富等。现在中共更进一步将这种违背人类最基本的文明准则的黑社会式暴力攻击手法延伸到海外。他们已撕下流氓的外衣，不仅在国内也在国外公然使用黑社会式的暴力手段镇压反对他们的声音。如今中共濒临解体，已处于更加疯狂的状态，如对西藏和新疆民众的屠杀，已有多方面证据显示是中共蓄意屠杀以制造民族矛盾转移官民冲突的政权危机。
美国是自由民主的土地，是世界各国反对独裁专制的自由民主斗士和良心人士寻求政治避难的最后家园。但如今中共对美国渗透非常严重，已经出现了多起针对在美避难人士的暴力事件，而且这一现象还没有得到明确的制止。所以我们希望美国行政当局和国会参众两院能警觉起来，充分意识到在美国发生的政治迫害事件，不仅是对美国人民的侵害，也是对美国自由民主的价值观的挑战，也是对美国国土安全的威胁。事实上，中共对美国的渗透和蠢蠢欲动，远胜于中东恐怖主义对美国的威胁。
美国总统奥巴马最近的演说提到“回顾过去，几代人在战胜法西斯主义和共产主义时依靠的不仅仅是导弹和坦克，更是牢固的联盟和不渝的信念。对于那些依靠腐败、欺骗、压制不同意见等手段固守权势的人，我们提醒你们：你们站在了历史错误的一边；但只要你们放弃压迫，我们将伸手相助。”
法西斯主义己在上个世纪在全球范围內被消灭了，但是共产主义殘余势力仍然在世间人类社会中存在。共产主义阵营首领苏联已被和平解体，但中共政权仍舊统治着全球人口最多的国家，肆意迫害和鎮压中国人民，封锁信息，残害法轮功修煉者、家庭教会信徒和西藏新建等地区少数民族。不仅如此，中共政权正将共产党的暴力文化输出到世界自由民主国家。鉴于此，我们呼吁美国政府尽快正视此事，彻查此案，全力缉拿凶手和幕后黑手，给中共在美国的各种地下势力以严厉打击，确保美国人民的自由意志不受任何外来邪恶势力的干预。

SignedLetter to Stop the Chinese Communist Persecution and Protect thePersonal Safety of fighters for freedom and democracy in the UnitedStates

DearFriends:
Recently,Mr. Tang Baiqiao, a well-known fighter for democracy, survivor of theJune 4th repression, granted political asylum in the United States,was seriously and violently attacked in New York by several hatchetmen directed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), resulting inmultiple injuries to his face and hands. Prior to this, Tang had beensubject to a number of different levels of violent attacks and deaththreats. The reason why he received such attacks is because of hisstrong support for the Falun Gong against persecution and thecampaign to quit the Party, his joining the Interim Government andhis stand against the CCP. Therefore, this is a vicious politicalmurder incident that occurred within the United States. This is notthe first case, but we hope it is the last. Prior to this, Li Yuan,technical chief for The Epoch Times, Mr. Bian Hexiang and Mr. LiuGuohua, pro-democracy activists in support of Falun Gong, and manyvolunteers at the Flushing service center for Quitting the CCP, weresubject to different degrees of death threats and violent attacks ofsimilar nature. Outside the United States, the CCP has also created anumber of violent incidents, such as their avowed beating of HongKong lawyer Albert Ho, planning the murder of Hong Kong's DemocraticParty leader Mr. Martin Li and Hong Kong pro-democracy activist Mr.Lee Cheuk-yan.
Inrecent years in China, not only have the Falun Gong, the petitioningpublic and dissidents often been violently attacked in mafia style bythe CCP, many rights lawyers like Gao Zhisheng, Li Heping, GuoFeixiong, Yang Zaixin, Cheng Hai, Yan Yiming, Zhang Kai, and LiChunfu have also been the subject of similar violent attacks. Now theCCP has gone further and extended overseas the practice ofmafia-style violent attacks that go against the most basic norms ofhuman civilization. They have taken off their rogue's cloak, and nowblatantly use mafia-style violent means, not only in China but alsooverseas, to suppress voices that oppose them. Today the CCP, on thebrink of collapse, is in an even more frenzied state. Take theirmassacre of Tibetans and Uyghurs as example, there is much evidencethat the CCP deliberately carried out these massacres in order tocreate ethnic conflict so as to divert the political power crisis ofconflict between the authorities and the masses.
TheUnited States is a land of freedom and democracy, the final homewhere freedom and democracy fighters and people of conscience inopposition to autocratic dictatorship in countries around the worldseek political asylum. But now the CCP’s infiltration into theUnited States is very serious; many incidents of violence againstindividuals taking refuge on the soil have occurred, and thisphenomenon has not demonstrably been deterred. So, we hope that theU.S. administration and Congress will be on the alert, and be fullyaware that incidents of political persecution occurring in the UnitedStates are not only an infraction upon the American people, but alsoa challenge to American values of freedom and democracy, and a threatto security of the U.S. homeland. In fact, the infiltration of theCCP into the United States and their readiness to make trouble are amuch greater threat to the United States than is terrorism from theMiddle East.
U.SPresident Obama in his recent inaugural address said: “Recall thatearlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just withmissiles and tanks, but with the sturdy alliances and enduringconvictions.” “To those who cling to power through corruption anddeceit and the silencing of dissent, know that you are on the wrongside of history, but that we will extend a hand if you are willing tounclench your fist.”
Fascismwas eradicated globally in the last century, but the remnants ofcommunism still exist in human society in this world. The head of thecommunist camp, the Soviet Union, has been peacefully dissolved, butthe Chinese Communist regime is still ruling the world's mostpopulous country, wantonly persecuting and repressing the Chinesepeople, blockading information, persecuting Falun Gong practitioners,house church members, and ethnic minorities in places like Tibet andXinjiang. Moreover, the Chinese Communist regime is exporting theCommunist Party’s culture of violence to democratic countries ofthe free world. In view of this, we call on your government to facethis matter squarely as soon as possible, conduct a thoroughinvestigation into the case, to track down the assailants and thosedark forces behind them, to severely crack down on the variousunderground forces of the CCP in the United States, to ensure thatAmerican free will is not interfered with by any outside forces ofevil.
