新民主女神像運港
【本報訊】支聯會計劃在六四事件 21周年前一星期起，在銅鑼灣時代廣場展出一系列六四紀念作品，包括著名華人雕塑家陳維明的新民主女神像，以及《天安門屠殺》大型浮雕。支聯會希望作品可以在港永久擺放，但須先物色適當地點。

期望在港永久擺放
新民主女神像高 6.4米，比現時擺放在理工大學的舊像高一倍多，正從美國運來香港，計劃於本月 29日起在時代廣場展出，然後於六四當晚在維園擺放。新女神像由陳維明打造，陳維明畢業於北京中央工藝美術學院， 1988年移居新西蘭，曾為西藏流亡精神領袖達賴喇嘛及美國總統奧巴馬造像。
另一件付運中的《天安門屠殺》浮雕寬 6.4米，高 2.3米，分成五塊，將與女神像一併展出。流亡美國的中國民主黨黨員黃小勤說過，希望新民主女神像可以在香港永久擺放，因為香港是最多華人悼念六四的地方。支聯會正聯絡學聯，研究是否可以在任何一間大專院校安放新民主女神。支聯會副主席蔡耀昌說，期望兩件雕塑可以喚起更多香港人關注六四事件。 http://hk.apple.nextmedia.com/template/apple/images/art_end.gif
