上周在target，买sony的dvd-r， 25张才9美元。。。 一次买了3盒。。估计可以用一段时间 了。

Office-Max has 8x Imation DVD+/-R for sale (25 for $9);

Office-Depot has 8X Maxell DVD+/-R, buy one get one free.

Imation, Memerox, Sony, TDK, Maxell, Verbatim, Fuji (made in Taiwan) are overall good.

But this CompUSA FMI (made in Tiawan or HongKong) is not so good. Burning near the edge of the disc may have problem. I burned a 4.28GB DVD video on one of this kind of DVD-R 4X disc. It had problem for the part near the outer edge; while I burn the same video on a Verbatim DVD-R bought from Amazon. It has no problem at all. I also have no problems burning bigger movies on above-mentioned big brands.

Not recommended to buy this FMI DVD+/-R.

I bought one for $29.99 after 2 mail-in rebates. Good to have 3 yrs' warranty, though it's less than Seagate's 5yrs' warranty.

It can be put in a USB enclosure to make an external drive. Good deal!
