《道德經 - Dao De Jing》
78 天下(意:低;谐音:帝)莫柔弱於水(是明【名】明【名】的事实),而攻堅強者莫之能勝,其無以易之。弱之勝強,柔之勝剛,天下(明【名】明【名】)莫不知(音同:之),莫能行。是以聖人云:受國之垢,是謂社稷主;受國不祥,是謂天下(意:低;谐音:帝)王。正言若反。
79 和大怨,必有餘(下,低;谐音:帝)怨;安可以為善(含:上)?是以聖(含:上)人執左契,而不責於人。有德司契,無德司徹。天道無親,常與善(含:上)人。

(Things to be believed)
78 There is (absolutely) nothing in the world more soft and weak than water, and yet(besides) for attacking things that are (exactly) firm and strong there is nothing that can take precedence(just take more significance) of it; - for there is nothing (so effectual[extremely efficacious]) for which it can be (easily) changed.
Every one in the world knows that the soft overcomes the hard, and the weak(unbreakable, and the frail) the strong, but no one (exactly) is able to carry it out in practice(just make good to make use of exact it).
(Accordingly)Therefore a sage has said,
'He who accepts(begins) his (big) state (really is censure)'s reproach,
Is hailed therefore(that being so exactly) its altars' lord;
To him who (just) bears men's direful woes
They all the name of (exalted) King accord.'
Words that are (being) strictly true seem to be (very inconsistent)paradoxical.
(Adherence to bond or covenant)
79 When a(every) reconciliation is effected (between two parties) (following)after a great(expansive) animosity, there is (just affirmative to be a resentment)sure to be a grudge remaining (in the mind of the one who was wrong[exactly in the brain of the one who was basically wrong]). And how (really) can this be beneficial (to the other)?
(That being the case)Therefore (to guard against this), the sage keeps the (obnoxious) left-hand portion of the record of the (major engagements)engagement, and does not (extremely) insist on the ([as soon as]speedy) fulfilment(basically ending) of it by the (additional)other party. (So[That being so]), he who has the attributes (of the Dao [without exception]) regards (only) the conditions of the (major engagements)engagement, while he who has not those attributes (without exception) regards only the conditions (being) favourable to himself.
In(Actually in) the Way of Heaven, there (absolutely) is no (big) partiality(and extreme bias) of love; it is always(just at all times) on the side of the good man.
