Romans 3
King James Version
1 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.
3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
5 But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)
6 God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?
7 For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?
8 And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.
9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
15 Their feet are swift to shed blood:
16 Destruction and misery are in their ways:
17 And the way of peace have they not known:
18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

3:11 没有明白的,没有寻求 神的;
3:16 所经过的路,便行残害暴虐的事;
3:23 因为世人都犯了罪,亏缺了 神的荣耀;

Romans 3
King James Version
(In other words)
1 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
2 Much every way: first and foremost, because that unto them were originally committed the oracles of God.
3 For what if some did not believe? shall their disbelief make the faith of God without effect?
4 God forbid: yea, let God be genuine, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest surmount when thou art judged.
5 But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I declare as a man)
6 God forbid: for then how shall God judge the entire world?
7 For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why even am I likewise judged as a sinner?
8 And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some bear witness which we speak,) Let us do evil, that good may come? their malediction is just.
9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not any human being:
11 There is absolutely none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

Romans 3
King James Version
1 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision[What supplementary benefit on account of this hath the Jew? or what benefit is there of circumcision]?
2 [Greatly every way: extraordinarily, since that unto them were justifiably committed the oracles of God.]Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.
3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect[Excluding what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief turn anymore the faith of God without effect]?
4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged[Not in any circumstances! Let God be true, but every human being a liar; as it is exactly written, That thou mightest be justified amid thy beliefs, and mightest exceptionally overcome when thou art judged].*
5 But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)[But if our unrighteousness bringeth out God’s righteousness more profoundly, what shall we say? That God is unjust in bringing his wrath on us? (I am expressing in a human way)]*
6 God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world[By no means! for then how shall God judge all humen beings]?
7 For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner[To the extent that if the real situation of God hath more abounded by my lie unto his glory; why am I still condemned resembling a sinner]?
8 And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just[And not rather, (exactly like we be slanderously jabbered, as some assert that we express,) Permit us carry out evil, that good may possibly spring? whose fiery damnation is bighearted].
9 [What in that case? do we have any advantage? No, in no wise: To the extent that we preliminarily have proved both Gentiles and Jews, they are all not more than sin;]*What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one[As it is written explicitly, There is not any righteous, no, not a single human being]:
11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God[There is nobody that distinctly understandeth, there is nobody that inquireth of God].
12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one[Approximately all of them have turned away, they jointly have become useless; there is no one who exhibits value, not even one human being.”]*.
13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips[Their throat is an open crypt; with their tongues they have used bluffing; the toxin of asps is below their jaws]:
14 [Whose mouths are swarming with execrating and acrimony:]*Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
15 Their feet are swift to shed blood[Their feet begin straightway to jettison blood]:
16 [Destruction along with excruciation unobjectionably mark their situations:]*Destruction and misery are in their ways:
17 And the way of peace have they not known[And the way of peace have they not experienced]:
18 There is no fear of God before their eyes[There is no fear of God before their eyes].
19 [Now we have knowledge that what things of any kind the law saith, it saith to somebodies who are according to the law: that approximately all mouths may potentially be jammed, every single one in the world may wax guilty ahead of God.]Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin[That being so by the indentures of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: inasmuch as by the law is the exclusive of sin].
21 [By contrast the righteousness of God without the Jewish law is manifested and exhibited at this moment, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;]But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference[Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that seriously believe: reason being there is no extra difference among Gentile and Jew]:
23 [For all come short of the exalted estimation of God, and have sinned;]For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus[Being justified freely by dint of his grace by the saving that is in Christ Jesus]:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God[Whom God hath exhibited to be a propitiation through entire faith in his blood, to declare his justice meant for the amnesty of sins that are past, through the extraordinary forbearance of God];
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus[To bring into the open, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be full of integrity, and the exemplar of him which have confidence in Jesus].
27 [What becomes of our exaggerating afterwards? It is not included. By what kind of law? Through a law of works? No, but by dint of the law of faith]**Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law[This being the case we make out exactly that a man is justified because of faith without the deeds of the Jewish law].
29 [Is the Almighty of the Jews exclusively? is he not also the same named God of the Gentiles? No doubt, he is likewise the same named Supreme Being of the Gentiles:]Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law[Do we extraordinarily make void the Jewish law by means of faith? God forbid, not at all! Rather, we uphold the law]*.
