Last night, My son, who is 3 yrs old, and I checked the pictures. The day before yesterday I took lots of single photos for my husband. When we read them, I teased my son," look, you have lots of daddies."
"No, silly mommy, I only have one daddy."
" then, how many mommies do you have?"
" only one and I have only one sister."
My son smiled and said, " I can't imagine if I have many mommies and daddies and sisters..."
Hearing this, my husband and I laughed with understanding.
This morning when I dressed him, I asked him, "Who is your best friend, son?"
"Samon and He even invited me to come over to his house.mommy, can I sleep over at his house?"
"Maybe when you are a little bit older."
"Samon just changed a new mommy, and he told me he loves his new mommy."
"How about you change a new mommy?"
hearing this, my son ran over to me and embraced my thigh tightly, and said, "mhh, no,no... mommy, I only love you."
To tell you the truth, I was surrounded by a ply of warm current at that moment...
Tonight about 9:00pm, my son wanted me to tune in "Treehouse on demand" for him, he wanted to watch "Care bear", which is his favorite TV show. Then I said only one section. He nodded. When I was tunning in, he whispered beside my ear and said, "mommy, maybe two." "hey, you just said one, how come two now?" "Sorry, mommy, I change my mind now. what's more, I am not tired and I can color my book when I watch TV."
"Ok", because one section only takes about 20 minutes.
When the TV show was done, he didn't finish coloring his picture. "Mommy, sorry, care bear is done, but I didn't finish coloring my picture. Can I keep on working on it for a while."
"Ok" said me.
He went to turn off TV, and said, " Thanks! mommy"
When he was coloring the picture, he took a look at me and said, "Can you wait, mommy." " sure, but not too long, only a while." Because I was waiting for him to sleep.
About 5 minutes, he finished coloring the picture.
Time to go to bed. He wanted me to read a story about Santa. But we couldn't find that book, then he said maybe " rocky horse is ok". So I told him only one time because it was not early. then he said, "Ok!"
After I read one time, he was not so sleepy and he told me softly, " Mommy, I really want you to read it one more time. can you?" "Ok".
I kissed him and said " I love you".  He did the same to me. and I read the story , before I finish reading, he already fell asleep...
"son, have a good dream"...looking at the face of a profound sleep, I said in my heart. |
