查尔斯旧情书憧憬“妻妾成群”
据报道，英国王储查尔斯30多年前写给一名女子的6封情书目前正被标价3万美元在eBay网站上拍卖。

情书写在娶戴安娜前
曾被查尔斯热情追求的这位女子名叫珍妮特・詹金斯，出生于英国，18岁时移居加拿大，上个世纪70年代在英国驻蒙特利尔领事馆工作过。被拍卖的这些情书写于1976年至1980年间，查尔斯1981年才与戴安娜结婚，因此这些信是在他结婚前写的。
情书被卖旧情人恼火
这些情书的售卖者是美国洛杉矶的一名女商人卡罗尔。她说，这些书信是她2002年从詹金斯手中买来的，当时詹金斯急需用钱。不过詹金斯否认这种说法，她表示，卡罗尔当年联系她称要把这些信放在博物馆展览，后来就拒绝还给她。过去7年她一直在向卡罗尔追索这些信件。发现卡罗尔在网上卖情书，感到十分恼火，她将不排除用法律手段要回信件的可能性。
与查尔斯“私通20年”
2005年时美国媒体曾爆料称，詹金斯是查尔斯的“第二情妇”，1975年6月她23岁时和查尔斯首次相识，两人保持了20多年的私通关系，还在1984年生下一个儿子。不过詹金斯从来没有公开承认过孩子的生父是查尔斯。

We are lead to believe Prince Charles was in love and seeing Camilla during his courtship of Diana. It has been written he talked to Camilla from Britannia during his honeymoon.
If he was so much in love with Camilla before during and after his wedding to Diana, why was he writing to another woman in June 1980 telling her he was under pressure to get married and telling her "not to worry", if anything happened he would give her a warning!!
Diana's death was sad in so many ways. With her death, the glamour and excitement of watching the royal family is gone. We now have a dodgy, gray haired, old senior couple. Boring
I do so miss Diana.

LETTER FROM PRINCE CHARLES TO A GIRLFRIEND SPEAKING OF HIS DESPERATION TO FIND A WIFE AND COMPLAINING ABOUT ROYAL DUTIES
June 8, 1980
This 28 year old letter from HRH Prince Charles shows, he was under great pressure in 1980 to find a wife and get married and it seems whomever his family found would be suitable. In this seven page letter written on official Windsor Castle paper dated June 8, 1980, Charles writes to a girlfriend in Montreal, Canada about his frustration with the press and not being able to sneak ladies into his hotel room - "My new private secretary is horrified by the idea of ladies in hotel rooms during foreign visits". He also speaks of marriage and divorce and his worries of making a mistake! He writes, " I can see that I shall just have to get married as soon as possible and then all these people might relax a little....! I still think my solution of marrying a girl from each commonwealth county is the best one". He continues, "Don't worry-whatever happens I will make sure you are given early warning.........". |
