《北山 - Bei Shan》


涉（我人登上）彼北山、言采其杞（红红的【又音：帝】枸杞子）。
偕（单立人音：人）偕（取彩色拼音字母：含皆，Jie）（之）士子、朝（zhao）夕（暮，mu）（有日月；两字组合：明；音同：名）從（含人，ren）事（shi）（每天起早拉晚竟【谐音：京】忙得不停息）。
王事（音同：市）靡盬（再三再四）、（几乎没时间来）憂我父母。
溥天之下、莫非王土（莫不是属于国君【上含字中字】之名的土地【音同：帝】）。
率（含幺，意：小）土之濱（滨右含字中字）、莫非王臣（莫不是属于国君之名的【又音：帝】人）。
大夫（含：天）不均、我從事獨賢（唯独让我为国事来如此劳苦）。
四牡彭彭、王事傍傍。
嘉我未老、鮮我方將。
旅力方剛、經營四方。

或燕燕（重复）居息、或盡瘁（生命不息，战斗不止）事國。
或息偃在床、或不已于行。

或不知（长长的）叫號、或慘慘劬勞。
或棲遲偃仰、或（将，shall，取黑体音：沙）王事（音同：市）鞅掌。

或湛樂飲酒、或慘慘畏咎。
或出入風（大）議、或靡事不為。

《北山 - Bei Shan》        



I ascend that northern hill,
And (just) gather the medlars.
An officer(executive), strong and vigorous,
Morning(Between morning) and evening I am engaged in service(busy) in (labor).
The king's business is not to be (flexibly carried out)slackly performed;
And my parents are left in sorrow(Just leave my parents in sorrow).

Under the (extensive heavenly cloud)wide heaven,
All(Every bit of it) is the king's land (totally).
Within the sea-boundaries of the land,
All are the king's servants(Everybody is the king's servant).
His great officers are unfair(Except his great officers are unjust),  
Making me serve thus as if (exactly) I alone were worthy(able).
  
My(Running, my) four horses never halt(stay);
The king's business (gives)allows no rest.
They praise me as not yet old(They extol I am not yet old);
They think few like(just few as same as) me in vigour (exactly).
While the backbone retains its strength,
I must plan and labour in all (segments)parts of the kingdom.
  
Some enjoy their ease and rest(breathing space),
And some are worn out in the service(exhausted in the aid) of the (majestic) State;
Some rest and loll upon their couches(relax upon their davenports),
And some never cease(break off) marching about.

Some never hear a sound(obey a voice),
And some are cruelly toiled(abominably grinded away);
Some lazily roost, on(and relax) their backs looking up (joyfully),
And some are all-bustled(lavishly excited) in the service(aid) of the (beloved) king.

Some indulge(enjoy) long in pleasure and(bad) drinking,
And some are miserable(anxious), in apprehension of blame;
Some, at home and abroad, pass critical(just pass extreme) remarks,
And some have everything to do.

或（久，九）息偃在床、或不已于行。

或不知（百姓）叫號、或慘慘劬勞（苦；截取共字头，音：共）。
或棲遲（含厂，取chan，产）偃仰、或王（上含一）事鞅掌。

或湛樂飲（含欠，千）酒（九）、或慘慘畏咎（意：获罪招祸）。
或出入風議、或靡事不（含下，down，党）為。
