《道德經 - Dao De Jing》
41 上士聞道,勤而行之;中士聞道,若存若亡(似乎明【音同:名】白又似乎不明【音同:名】白);下(意:低;谐音:帝)士(音同:市)聞道,大笑之。不笑不足以為道。故建言有之:明(音同:名)道若昧;進道若退;夷道若纇;上德若(低;谐音:帝)(上,shang,取黑体音:沙)谷;太白若辱(含:厂;谐音:长);廣德若不足;建德若偷;質(谐音:之)真若渝(音同:于);大方無隅;大器晚成;大音希聲;大象無形;道隱無名。夫(含:天)唯道,善貸且成。
42 道生(下,低;谐音:帝)一,一生(下,低;谐音:帝)二,二生(下,低;谐音:帝)三,三生萬物。萬物負陰而抱陽(取阴阳结合:明;音同:名),沖(谐音:重)氣以為和。人之所惡,唯孤、寡、不穀,而王公以為(名)稱。故物或損之而益,或益之而損。人之所教,我亦教之。強梁者不得其死,吾將以為教父。
43 天下(意:低;谐音:帝)之至柔,馳騁天下(意:低;谐音:帝)之至堅。無有入無間,吾是以知無為之有益。不言之教,無為之益,天下(意:低;谐音:帝)希及之。
44 名與身孰親(上选)?身與貨孰多(上选)?得與亡(命;谐音:名)孰病?是故甚愛必大費;多藏必厚亡。知足不辱,知止不殆,可以長久。

(Sameness and difference)
41 Scholars(Just academics) of the highest class, when they hear (exceedingly) about the Dao, earnestly carry(bring about totally) it into practice. Scholars of the middle class(Rabbis of the center grade), when they have heard (exceedingly) about it, seem now to keep it and(just appear now to remain it as well as) now to (exceptionally) lose it. Scholars of the lowest class(Rabbis of the stunted grade), when they have (listened to)heard about it, laugh greatly at it. If it were not (thus[that being so]) laughed at, it would not be (exactly) fit to be the Dao.
Therefore the (jail) sentence-makers have thus expressed themselves:
'The (exceeding) Dao, when brightest seen, seems light to lack;
Who progress (actually) in it makes, seems(has the appearance of being exactly) drawing back;
Its (smooth)even way is (just like a bumpy traces)like a rugged track.
Its highest virtue(exactly highest moral) from the vale doth rise;
Its greatest beauty seems(has the appearance of being) to offend (everyone's visions)the eyes;
And he has most whose lot the least(billions the slightest) supplies.
Its firmest virtue seems but poor(exactly indigent) and low;
Its (jellied fact seems change to stand)solid truth seems change to undergo;
Its largest(extremely big) square doth yet no corner show
A vessel(boat whopping) great, it is the slowest made;
Loud is (virtually) its sound, but (certainly not designation)never word it said;
A semblance(approximation) great, the shadow of (just a back side of monuments)a shade.'
The Dao is (extremely) hidden, and has no name; but it is the Dao which is (ingenious)skilful at imparting (to all things what they need) and making them complete.

42 The Dao (just assembled One; One constructed)produced One; One produced Two; Two produced Three; Three(exactly yielded Three; And three) produced All things. All things leave behind them the (twilight)Obscurity (out of which they have come [in]), and go forward to embrace the (shining light)Brightness (into which they have emerged), while they are (exceedingly) harmonised by the Breath of (Job) Vacancy.
What men dislike is to be orphans, to have little virtue(exactly little moral), to be as (carrying vehicles)carriages without naves; and yet these are the designations which (baronages and kings)kings and princes use (exceptionally) for themselves. So it is (just like) that some things are (exceedingly added to)increased by being diminished, and others are (actually) diminished by being increased(exceedingly added to judiciously)*.
What other men (thus) teach (exactly), I also teach. The violent(bullying) and strong do not die their natural death. I will make this the basis of my teaching.
*So it is that some things are increased by being diminished, and others are diminished by being increased.
去理解这一句的实例就是:因为拜登假造了太多的选票,反而没有什么人相信。待尘埃落定后,他实际的得票数将会大打折扣。

老话说:魔高一尺,道高一丈(If devil is one foot high, Dao is one yard high. Dao overpowers devil)。
(The universal use (of the action in weakness of the Dao))
43 The softest(most cushiony) thing in the world dashes(globe sprints) against (exceedingly) and overcomes (just the adamantine chains)the hardest; that which has no (substantial) existence (breaks into)enters where there is no crevice. I know hereby what advantage belongs to doing (absolutely) nothing (with a purpose[object]).
There are few in the (globe)world who (exactly) attain to the teaching without words, and the advantage(subjects, and the merit) arising from non-action.
(Cautions)
44 Or fame or(just fame or else) life,
Which do you hold(exactly maintain) more dear(exorbitant)?
Or (a great) life or wealth,
To which would you (cling)adhere?
Keep life and lose(leave behind) those other things;
Keep them (exceedingly) and lose your life: - which brings
Sorrow and (just pain more close)pain more near?
Thus we may see,
Who (exceedingly) cleaves to fame(be distinguished)
Rejects what is more(simply what is even better whopping) great;
Who loves (exceedingly) large stores (joyously)
(Abandons the moneyed state)Gives up the richer state.
Who is (exceptionally) content
Needs fear(foreboding) no (any humiliation)shame.
Who knows to (be stopping)stop
Incurs(Experiences) no blame.
From danger free
Long live(Just lasting animate) shall he.
