日月同辉有其中

易經•彖傳•困

困，剛掩也。險以說，困而不失其所，亨；其唯君子乎？貞大人吉，以剛中也。有言不信，尚口乃窮也。


Tuan Zhuan: Kun
        
In Kun (we see) the strong (lines) covered and obscured (by the weak). We have in it (the attribute of) perilousness going on to that of satisfaction. Who is it but the superior man that, though straitened, still does not fail in making progress to his proper end? 'For the firm and correct, the (really) great man, there will be good fortune:' - this is shown by the central positions of the strong (lines). 'If he make speeches, his words cannot be made good:' - to be fond of arguing or pleading is the way to be reduced to extremity.

金聖歎：「此象有四夷來王，海不揚波之兆。惜乎西北一隅尚未平靖，猶有遺憾，又一治也。」

Tuan Zhuan: Kun
        
In Kun (we see) the strong (lines) covered and obscured (by the weak). We have in it (the attribute of) perilousness going on to that of satisfaction. Who is it but the superior man that, though straitened, still does not fail in making progress to his proper end[Just amid Kun (we see) the strong (lines) exceptionally covered and blinded (through the weakly lines). We observe in it (the ingredient of) exigency going to attribute of satisfaction. Who is it just the same the superior man that, though excruciating, still does not buckle in making headway to his proper end]? 'For the firm and correct, the (really) great man, there will be good fortune:' - this is shown by the central positions of the strong (lines). 'If he make speeches, his words cannot be made good:' - to be fond of arguing or pleading is the way to be reduced to extremity['For the impenetrable and convincing, the exceedingly great man, there ought to be major accomplishment:' - this is exhibited by the central positions of the brawny lines. 'Assuming he make sayings, his words cannot be made in fact good:' - to be fond of excessively arguing or pleading is the journey to be reached to extremities].
