(Following up)

221. Do not marry idolatresses, unless they have believed. A believing maid is better than an idolatress, even if you like her. And do not marry idolaters, unless they have believed. A believing servant is better than an idolater, even if you like him. These call to the Fire, but God calls to the Garden and to forgiveness, by His leave. He makes clear His communications to the people, that they may be mindful.

222. And they ask you about menstruation: say, “It is harmful, so keep away from women during menstruation. And do not approach them until they have become pure. Once they have become pure, approach them in the way God has directed you.” God loves the repentant, and He loves those who keep clean.”

223. Your women are cultivation for you; so approach your cultivation whenever you like, and send ahead for yourselves. And fear God, and know that you will meet Him. And give good news to the believers.

224. And do not allow your oaths in God's name to hinder you from virtue, and righteousness, and making peace between people. God is Listener and Knower.

225. God does not hold you responsible for your unintentional oaths, but He holds you responsible for your intentions. God is Forgiving and Forbearing.

226. Those who vow abstinence from their wives must wait for four months. But if they reconcile—God is Forgiving and Merciful.

227. And if they resolve to divorce—God is Hearing and Knowing.

228. Divorced women shall wait by themselves for three periods. And it is not lawful for them to conceal what God has created in their wombs, if they believe in God and the Last Day. Meanwhile, their husbands have the better right to take them back, if they desire reconciliation. And women have rights similar to their obligations, according to what is fair. But men have a degree over them. God is Mighty and Wise.

229. Divorce is allowed twice. Then, either honorable retention, or setting free kindly. It is not lawful for you to take back anything you have given them, unless they fear that they cannot maintain God's limits. If you fear that they cannot maintain God’s limits, then there is no blame on them if she sacrifices something for her release. These are God’s limits, so do not transgress them. Those who transgress God’s limits are the unjust.

230. If he divorces her, she shall not be lawful for him again until she has married another husband. If the latter divorces her, then there is no blame on them for reuniting, provided they think they can maintain God's limits. These are God’s limits; He makes them clear to people who know.

221.你们不要娶以物配主的妇女，直到她们信道。已信道的奴婢，的确胜过以物配主的妇女，即使她使你们爱慕她。你们不要把自己的女儿嫁给以物配主的男人，直到他们信道。已信道的奴仆，的确胜过以物配主的男人，即使他使你们爱慕他。这等人叫你们入火狱，真主却随意地叫你们入乐园，和得到赦宥。他为世人阐明他的迹象，以便他们觉悟。

222.他们问你月经的（律例），你说：“月经是有害的，故在经期中你们应当离开妻子，不要与她们交接，直到她们清洁。当她们洗净的时候，你们可以在真主所命你们的部位与她们交接。”真主的确喜爱悔罪的人，的确喜爱洁净的人。

223.你们的妻子好比是你们的田地，你们可以随意耕种。你们当预先为自己而行善。你们当敬畏真主，当知道你们将与他相会。你当向信士们报喜。

224.你们不要为自己的盟誓而以真主为障碍，以致不能行善，不能敬畏，不能调解。真主是全聪的，是全知的。

225.真主不为无意的誓言而责备你们，但为有意的誓言而责备你们。真主是至赦的，是至容的。

226.盟誓不与妻子交接的人，当期待四个月；如果他们回心转意，那末，真主确是至赦的，确是至慈的。

227.如果他们决心休妻，那末，真主确是全聪的，确是全知的。

228.被休的妇人，当期待三次月经；她们不得隐讳真主造化在她们的子宫里的东西，如果她们确信真主和末日。在等待的期间，她们的丈夫是宜当挽留她们的，如果他们愿意重修旧好。她们应享合理的权利，也应尽合理的义务；男人的权利，比她们高一级。真主是万能的，是至睿的。

229.休妻是两次，此後应当以善意挽留（她们），或以优礼解放（她们）。你们已经给过她们的财产，丝毫不得取回，除非夫妻两人恐怕不能遵守真主的法度。如果你们恐怕他们俩不能遵守真主的法度，那末，她以财产赎身，对於他们俩是毫无罪过的。这是真主的法度，你们不要违犯它。谁违犯真主的法度，谁是不义的人。

230.如果他休了她，那末，她以後不可以做他的妻子，直到她嫁给其他的男人。如果後夫又休了她，那末，她再嫁前夫，对於他们俩是毫无罪过的，如果他们俩猜想自己能遵守真主的法度。这是真主的法度，他为有知识的民众而阐明它。

221. Do not marry idolatresses, unless they have believed. A believing maid is better than an idolatress, even if you like her. And do not marry idolaters, unless they have believed. A believing servant is better than an idolater, even if you like him. These call to the Fire, but God calls to the Garden and to forgiveness, by His leave. He makes clear His communications to the people, that they may be mindful[Do not marry female idolatresses, excepting they have become believed. A believing junior maid is more desirable than an idolatress, excepting the fact that you prefer the unbelieving women. And do not marry male idolaters, unless they have believed. A believing servant is more excelling than a male idolater, in spite of being you enjoy greatly him. These bigoted idolaters entrap women to the Fire of Hell, excepting the fact that God calls and animates often the believers to the serene Garden and to pardon, by His consent. And He makes clear God's communications to the human beings, in such a manner that they may be recognizant of].

222. And they ask you about menstruation: say, “It is harmful, so keep away from women during menstruation. And do not approach them until they have become pure. Once they have become pure, approach them in the way God has directed you.” God loves the repentant, and He loves those who keep clean.”[And they cross-examine you about menstruation: say, “It is detrimental, as a matter of course keep away from women just across menstruation. And do not approximate to them until they have become refreshing. At any point when they have become refreshing, approximate to them in the way God has had control of you.” God enjoys the ashamed as well as repentant, and He exceptionally loves those human beings who keep clean.”]  

223. Your women are cultivation for you; so approach your cultivation whenever you like, and send ahead for yourselves. And fear God, and know that you will meet Him. And give good news to the believers[Your womenkind are resembling farmland meant for you; on the grounds of this, approximate to your reasonable women whenever you enjoy, meantime do some kind of exceptionally good acts for your souls first off. And be mindful of God, and know you shall meet Him. And convey incredibly good tidings to the believers].**

224. And do not allow your oaths in God's name to hinder you from virtue, and righteousness, and making peace between people. God is Listener and Knower[And do not enable ultimately some sort of your oaths in God's name as an excuse for putting off you away from goodness, and justice, and making restfulness among rabblement. God is excellent Listener and Knower of course].*

225. God does not hold you responsible for your unintentional oaths, but He holds you responsible for your intentions. God is Forgiving and Forbearing[God does not augment you responsible by dint of your thoughtless and aimless oaths, exclusive of He holds you responsible for your intentions. God is Forgiving and Forbearing].

226. Those who vow abstinence from their wives must wait for four months. But if they reconcile—God is Forgiving and Merciful[Those who swear not to have sexual intercourse along with their wives must wait for four months. Assuming they readjust their assessments-at that time God is extra Oft-Forgiving, and Most Good-hearted].*

227. And if they resolve to divorce—God is Hearing and Knowing[But if they reach an agreement about on parting of the ways, on that occasion God is beyond shadow of a doubt All-Hearing, All-Knowing].*

228. Divorced women shall wait by themselves for three periods. And it is not lawful for them to conceal what God has created in their wombs, if they believe in God and the Last Day. Meanwhile, their husbands have the better right to take them back, if they desire reconciliation[Divorced women shall without exaggeration wait by means of themselves for three periods. And it is not justifiable for them to keep secret what God has brought into existence within the innards of their wombs, if they believe in God and the Last Day. In the meantime, their husbands have the wonderfuller right to bring them back home, only if they extricate their paradox and disagreement, onward enjoy agreements and amities]. And women have rights similar to their obligations, according to what is fair. But men have a degree over them. God is Mighty and Wise[And women have exact rights similar to their obligations, in agreement with what is enough fair. Despite men have a degree of responsibility higher than women. And God is with great knowledge and Fearsome].*

229. [Divorce is being admitted twice. Next off, either honorable retention, or extricating good-naturedly. It is not lawful for you to take back any object you have given women, saving they express an opinion that they are powerfully unable to maintain God's limits]Divorce is allowed twice. Then, either honorable retention, or setting free kindly. It is not lawful for you to take back anything you have given them, unless they fear that they cannot maintain God's limits. If you fear that they cannot maintain God’s limits, then there is no blame on them if she sacrifices something for her release. These are God’s limits, so do not transgress them. Those who transgress God’s limits are the unjust[If you fear that they cannot maintain God’s bounding lines, next off there is no blame on them only if she sacrifices something for her extrication and means of escape. These are God’s limits, therefore do not dare make short work of them. Those who objectionably mess up God’s limits are the unjust and blameworthy].

230. If he divorces her, she shall not be lawful for him again until she has married another husband. If the latter divorces her, then there is no blame on them for reuniting, provided they think they can maintain God's limits. These are God’s limits; He makes them clear to people who know[So if he divorces her, she ought not to be ordained for him again up to and including she has next married another husband. Presuming the latter divorces her, then there is no blame on them in preparation of reuniting the original marriage, provided they think they are able to maintain God's exceptional confines. These are God’s confines; God justly makes them understandable to human beings who know].
