269. He gives wisdom to whomever He wills. Whoever is given wisdom has been given much good. But none pays heed except those with insight.

270. Whatever charity you give, or a pledge you fulfill, God knows it. The wrongdoers have no helpers.

271. If you give charity openly, that is good. But if you keep it secret, and give it to the needy in private, that is better for you. It will atone for some of your misdeeds. God is cognizant of what you do.

272. Their guidance is not your responsibility, but God guides whom He wills. Any charity you give is for your own good. Any charity you give shall be for the sake of God. Any charity you give will be repaid to you in full, and you will not be wronged.

269.他以智慧赋予他所意欲的人；谁禀赋智慧，谁确已获得许多福利。惟有理智的人，才会觉悟。

270.凡你们所施的费用，凡你们所发的誓愿，都确是真主所知道的。不义的人，绝没有任何援助者。

271.如果你们公开地施舍，这是很好的；如果你们秘密地施济贫民，这对於你们是更好的。这能消除你们的一部分罪恶。真主是彻知你们的行为的。

272.引导他们，不是你的责任，但真主引导他所意欲的人。你们所施舍的任何美物，都是有利於你们自己的，你们只可为求真主的喜悦而施舍。你们所施舍的任何美物，你们都将享受完全的报酬，你们不受亏枉。

269. He gives wisdom to whomever He wills. Whoever is given wisdom has been given much good. But none pays heed except those with insight[Every time He selects, He hands acumen to whomever He names. Furthermore, whoever is offered many acumen has been offered much good. But not a single person takes heed of the things excepting that those with discernment and unravelment].

270. Whatever charity you give, or a pledge you fulfill, God knows it. The wrongdoers have no helpers[Whatever charity you offer, or an agreement you carry off, God knows it. The wrongdoers and jerks have no sympathisers].

271. [If you offer charity in a flagrant manner, that is good. As another option if you keep it secret and unnamed, and offer the goods and also money to the exceptionally poor in confidence, that is greater towards you. It ought to offset and just make amends for any of your shameful offenses. And God is exactly cognizant of what you are going to do.]If you give charity openly, that is good. But if you keep it secret, and give it to the needy in private, that is better for you. It will atone for some of your misdeeds. God is cognizant of what you do.

272. Their guidance is not your responsibility, but God guides whom He wills. Any charity you give is for your own good. Any charity you give shall be for the sake of God[Their guidance is not your responsibility, nothing to blame, in spite of that God truly superintends and mentors whom He thinks best. Any offering you accommodate is exceptionally for the purpose of your own good and joy. Any alms as well as offering you dispense shall be for the sake of God]. Any charity you give will be repaid to you in full, and you will not be wronged[Any alms as well as offering you give ought to be repaid to you without exception, and you will not be in fact wronged].
