HYMN CXC. Creation.

1. FROM Fervour kindled to its height Eternal Law and Truth were born:
Thence was the Night produced, and thence the billowy flood of sea arose.
2 From that same billowy flood of sea the Year was afterwards produced,
Ordainer of the days nights, Lord over all who close the eye.
3 Dhātar, the great Creator, then formed in due order Sun and Moon.
He formed in order Heaven and Earth, the regions of the air, and light.

1. In the time of joy kindled to its height lasting enactment and truth were born:
By doing this was the Night absolutely produced, and thence the fierce blast of sea arose.
2 From one same rising flood of sea the Year was afterwards generated,
The ordainer of the days nights, Lord over all who close the eye.

2 [From one same exceedingly heavy flood of sea the Year was being before long produced,]From that same billowy flood of sea the Year was afterwards produced,
Ordainer of the days nights, Lord over all who close the eye[And the very ordainer of the daytime and nights, Lord of Lords above every single who close down the eye].
3 Dhātar, the great Creator, then formed in due order Sun and Moon[The Exalted Deity, by the name of Dhātar, the great Creator, in a jiffy initiated and made Sun, next off, the bright and pale Moon].
He formed in order Heaven and Earth, the regions of the air, and light[He brought into being Heaven and Globe individually, the regions of the air, and light].
