LVIII-LXXI. The Third Parable.

LVIII. The Blessedness of the Saints.

CHAPTER LVIII.
1. And I began to speak the third Parable concerning the righteous and elect.  

2. Blessed are ye, ye righteous and elect,
For glorious shall be your lot.

3. And the righteous shall be in the light of the sun.
And the elect in the light of eternal life:
The days of their life shall be unending,
And the days of the holy without number.

4. And they shall seek the light and find righteousness with the Lord of Spirits:
There shall be peace to the righteous in the name of the Eternal Lord.

5. And after this it shall be said to the holy in heaven
That they should seek out the secrets of righteousness, the heritage of faith:
For it has become bright as the sun upon earth,
And the darkness is past.

6. And there shall be a light that never endeth,
And to a limit (lit. 'number') of days they shall not come,
For the darkness shall first have been destroyed,
[And the light established before the Lord of Spirits]
And the light of uprightness established for ever before the Lord of Spirits.

以諾一書


第58章：1至6節全文，第58至71章記載以諾第三寓言（聖徒的幸福）

1.我開始說關於義人與被選定者的第三個比喻。

2.祝福你們，你們是義人和被選定的，你們的命運是光榮的。

3.義人應當被陽光照耀著。被選定的會活在永恆生命的光輝裡面：他們的生活是沒有終結的，神聖的日子是不能用數字來衡量的。

4.他們應尋求光明和尋找神的公義：奉主之名義人將會得到和平。

5.在此之後應當說到神聖的天堂，他們應當尋找公義的秘密，與及信仰的遺產：他們將變得光明，像地上的太陽一樣燦爛，黑暗已經過去。

6.那裡的光沒有終結，他們有限的時日並不會到來，黑暗的會被首先摧毀，光明會在神面前建立起來，正直的光會永遠的建立在神面前。

LVIII. The Blessedness of the Saints.

CHAPTER LVIII.

(In other words
1. And then I speak first the third analogy germane to the conformingly righteous and elect.
2. Blessed are ye, ye unblemishedly righteous and elect,
For glorious have to be indeed your lot.

3. And the righteous shall be unconditionally in the light of the sun.
And the elect in the light of ineradicable life:
The days of their life shall be unusually measureless,
And the days of the godly are without number.
4. And they shall look about for the light and track down sacredness with the Lord of Spirits:

There shall be everlasting peace to the righteous in the name of the Eternal Lord.
5. And after this it shall be said to the blameless and pure in heaven...

1. And I began to speak the third Parable concerning the righteous and elect[And then I enjoyably commenced to speak the third figurative exemplum in the matter of the righteous and elect].  

2. Blessed are ye, ye righteous and elect[Blessed in addition big-name are ye, ye in point of fact righteous and elect],
For glorious shall be your lot[As being glorious shall be your expectation and preordination].

3. And the righteous shall be in the light of the sun[And the just and blameless shall exist among the light of the golden sun].
And the elect in the light of eternal life[Besides, the elect in the light of eternal life]:
The days of their life shall be unending[The days of their entire life shall be unending],
And the days of the holy without number[And the times of the righteous beyond the limits of number].

4. And they shall seek the light and find righteousness with the Lord of Spirits[And they shall explore for the light and also come across justness and blamelessness by dint of the Lord of Spirits]:
There shall be peace to the righteous in the name of the Eternal Lord[There ought to be endless and timeless peace of course to the righteous and excellent in the name of the Eternal Lord].

5. And after this it shall be said to the holy in heaven[Besides, ensuing it shall be soothingly said to the holy in heaven]
That they should seek out the secrets of righteousness, the heritage of faith[Being that they must needs to get wise to the secrets of righteousness, and the same priceless and excellent heritage of religion and spirituality]:
For it has become bright as the sun upon earth[Given it has become bright just the same the sun on top of globe],
And the darkness is past[And the exceeding darkness and gloominess is confidently past].

6. And there shall be a light that never endeth[And there ought to be an incredible blinding light that not at any time endeth],
And to a limit (lit. 'number') of days they shall not come[At the same time as to a limit number of days human beings should not come forth],
For the darkness shall first have been destroyed[Owing to the exceeding darkness and gloominess ought to first have been subjugate manifestly and exterminated soon after],
[And the light established before the Lord of Spirits][And the golden blinding light founded in front of the Lord of Spirits]
And the light of uprightness established for ever before the Lord of Spirits[And the lambency of integrity built for ever and ever in front of the Lord of Spirits].
