101 The Shocker (al-Qari'ah)
  
In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
  
1. The Shocker.
2. What is the Shocker?
3. What will explain to you what the Shocker is?
4. The Day when the people will be like scattered moths.
5. And the mountains will be like tufted wool.
6. As for he whose scales are heavy.
7. He will be in a pleasant life.
8. But as for he whose scales are light.
9. His home is the Abyss.
10. Do you know what it is?
11. A Raging Fire.

Surah 101. The Calamity, The Stunning Blow, The Disaster

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

1. The (Day) of Noise and Clamour:
2. What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour?
3. And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is?
4. (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about,
5. And the mountains will be like carded wool.
6. Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy,
7. Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction.
8. But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,-
9. Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit.
10. And what will explain to thee what this is?
11. (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely!

8. 至於善功的份量较轻者,
9. 他的归宿是深坑。

11. 有烈火。

In the significantly prestigious name of God, the Permissive, the Gracious.
1. The enigma.

In the second to none name of God, the Grand, the bighearted.
2. What really is the bad experience or awkward moment?
3. What will brief directly to you what the unexpected turnaround is?
In the everlasting name of God, the Permissive, the absolutely Gracious.

1. 1. The (Day) of Noise and Clamour:[The day of noise and blaring].
2. What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour[What exhaustively is the day of katzenjammer as well as excruciation]?*
3. And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is[And what will bring out to you what the day of yelling, discordance and lament is]?
4. (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about[(It is) a day as a result of which human beings should be exactly like scattered moths there].
5. And the mountains will be like tufted wool[And the mountains will be just the same as luxuriant and rumpled wool].
6. Then, he whose balance of good deeds will be brought into being heavy[And at the time, he whose balance of good deeds will be brought into being heavy].
7. Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction[Will certainly be in a life of good exhilaration, joy and comfiness].
8. But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,-[Excepting that he whose balance of good deeds will be certainly all made out light as a feather-]
9. His home is the Abyss[The no end of Abyss will certainly be his underground home].
10. And what will explain to thee what this is[And what will explain in detail to you what this is]?
11. (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely[It is a jumpy flame savagely]!
