Hymn to the Nile

Chapter II
   
Lord of the fish, during the inundation,
no bird alights on the crops.
Thou createst the corn, thou bringest forth the barley,
assuring perpetuity to the temples.  
If thou ceasest thy toil and thy work,
then all that exists is in anguish.
If the gods suffer in heaven  
then the faces of men waste away.

第二章

魚類的神啊，大水回來了，
鳥兒繞過了作物飛行。
火燒麥的製造者，小麥的創造者，
他維護了神殿長存。
他厭惡那懶惰者的雙手，
為了所有人，一切可憐人。
假如天上的神悲嘆著，
痛苦就襲擊人民。

Chapter II

Lord of the fish, during the inundation[Lord of a plethora of kinds of the fish, just at the same time as the torrent and submersion],
no bird alights on the crops[there exists no any kind of bird alights aboard the crops].
Thou createst the corn, thou bringest forth the barley[Thou bringest forth many different types of corn, thou bringest into existence all sorts barley],
assuring perpetuity to the temples[authenticating enjoyable timelessness to many of the godly communicants in temples].  
If thou ceasest thy toil and thy work[Only if thou bringest to an end thy exertion and means of support],
then all that exists is in anguish[and at that time all that has being is within the bounds of agony, dejection, ailment and bewailing].
If the gods suffer in heaven[If and only if the gods experience hardship mid abode of God]  
then the faces of men waste away[then the majestic lineaments of human beings go into a decline].*

所以，你们看，世间的一切都是由不死的天使（即：gods）管理或监督的。只要他们稍微“懈怠一点”，那些与CCP走得太近的准出大乱子。有的人似乎今天看出来了。
