Psalm 1

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

詩篇 第一章


1 不 從 惡 人 的 計 謀 ， 不 站 罪 人 的 道 路 ， 不 坐 褻 慢 人 的 座 位 ，

2 惟 喜 愛 耶 和 華 的 律 法 ， 晝 夜 思 想 ， 這 人 便 為 有 福 ！

3 他 要 像 一 棵 樹 栽 在 溪 水 旁 ， 按 時 候 結 果 子 ， 葉 子 也 不 枯 乾 。 凡 他 所 做 的 盡 都 順 利 。

4 惡 人 並 不 是 這 樣 ， 乃 像 糠 秕 被 風 吹 散 。

5 因 此 ， 當 審 判 的 時 候 惡 人 必 站 立 不 住 ； 罪 人 在 義 人 的 會 中 也 是 如 此 。

6 因 為 耶 和 華 知 道 義 人 的 道 路 ； 惡 人 的 道 路 卻 必 滅 亡 。

1 Blessed is the man first of all that walketh not in the exhortation and recommendations of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of misdoers or burglars, neither install himself in the seat of the scornful, debasing and withering round.

2 But his nameless delight is in the law of God; and in his law carrieth out he meditate day and night.

3 And he shall be in reality much like a tree directly planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

4 The ungodly are not so: but are in the same way as the chaff which wind driveth away.

5 On account of this the the ungodly shall not tolerate in the judgment, nor misdoers or burglars in under the congregation of the righteous.

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful[Therefore pronounced holy in addition venerated comes to be the human being that often goeth not inward of the exhortation and recommendations of the ungodly, nor standeth ultimately in the way of jerks, and blackmailers and evil-doers, and not sitteth relaxedly in the seat of the scornful or disrespectful human being].

2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night[Yet his interest and pastime is in the law of the Lord; inside the range of his law doth afterwards he beginneth to engage in contemplation all the time].

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper[And he shall be exactly like a kind of tree planted ajascent the mesa of spring of cold water, and that cometh into existence his admirable crimson fruit inside the range of his period; besides, his leaf not yet ought not to deadly wither away; in additon whatsoever he doeth shall be booming and eminent].

4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away[Of course the ungodly are not in the same way: nonetheless are exactly like the waste of chaff which a gust of wind sendeth away completely].

5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous[On account of this the ungodly shall not tolerate in the judgment, and not miscreants in the middle of the maximal congregation of the decent and blameless].

6 [Owing to the fact that the Lord knoweth the way of the lordly as well as honorable: meanwhile the way of the ungodly will certainly perish.]For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
