1 Praise the Lord first thing, all you human beings;
   extol him, all you peoples.
2 For lofty is his love toward us,
  and the faithfulness of the Lord stays forever.
  Consistently panegyrize and endorse the Lord.

1 Surely commend and honour the merciful Lord, all you nations;
   marvellously admire him, all you peoples.
2 Bearing in mind his merciful kindness is great toward us,
   and the faithfulness of the Lord endures everlastingly.
   Praise absolutely the Lord.
