95 The Fig (at-Tin)

In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
   
1. By the fig and the olive.
2. And Mount Sinai.
3. And this safe land.
4. We created man in the best design.
5. Then reduced him to the lowest of the low.
6. Except those who believe and do righteous deeds; for them is a reward without end.
7. So why do you still reject the religion?
8. Is God not the Wisest of the wise?

Surah 95. The Fig, The Figtree

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

1. By the Fig and the Olive,
2. And the Mount of Sinai,
3. And this City of security,-
4. We have indeed created man in the best of moulds,
5. Then do We abase him (to be) the lowest of the low,-
6. Except such as believe and do righteous deeds: For they shall have a reward unfailing.
7. Then what can, after this, contradict thee, as to the judgment (to come)?
8. Is not Allah the wisest of judges?

这章是麦加的, 全章共计八节。

奉至仁至慈的真主之名

1. 以无花果和橄榄果盟誓,
2. 以西奈山盟誓,
3. 以这个安宁的城市盟誓,
4. 我确已把人造成具有最美的形态,
5. 然后我使他变成最卑劣的;
6. 但信道而且行善者, 将受不断的报酬。
7. 此后 ,你怎麽还否认报应呢？
8. 难道真主不是最公正的判决者吗？

95 The Fig (at-Tin)
     
(In other words)
In the significantly prestigious name of God, the Permissive, the Gracious.
1. To pledge sincerely by the fig and the olive.

In the second to none name of God, the Grand, the bighearted.
1. To covenant sombrely by the fig in parallel with the olive,

2. And Mount Sinai,
3. Also this safe brick colored land,
4. We created man in the outstanding design.
  
In the everlasting name of God, the Permissive, the absolutely Gracious.

In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful[In the majestic name of Most Extraordinary, Most Benignant God].
   
1. By the fig and the olive.[To pledge by the ripened fig and the mellow olive,]
2. And Mount Sinai.[And by dint of the god-chosen famed Mount Sinai,]
3. And this safe land.[On top of this to swear to God exceptionally by means of this in good order land,]
4. We created man in the best design[Then We created unobjectionable human being inside the range of the exceptional image and also design].
5. Then reduced him to the lowest of the low[In days of yore We continually abated him to the underlying of the low down or close to the ground].
6. Except those who believe and do righteous deeds; for them is a reward without end[Except those type of mankind who believe and engage at all times excellent behaviours and also manners; as provision for them is a kind of good grant without end].
7. So why do you still reject the religion[And by that means why do you before now reject the famed worship]?
8. Is God not the Wisest of the wise[Is God not the Wisest of the wise therefore]?
