63 The Hypocrites (al-Munafiqun)

In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.

1. When the hypocrites come to you, they say, “We bear witness that you are God’s Messenger.” God knows that you are His Messenger, and God bears witness that the hypocrites are liars.

2. They treat their oaths as a cover, and so they repel others from God’s path. Evil is what they do.

3. That is because they believed, and then disbelieved; so their hearts were sealed, and they cannot understand.

4. When you see them, their appearance impresses you. And when they speak, you listen to what they say. They are like propped-up timber. They think every shout is aimed at them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. God condemns them; how deluded they are!

5. And when it is said to them, “Come, the Messenger of God will ask forgiveness for you,” they bend their heads, and you see them turning away arrogantly.

6. It is the same for them, whether you ask forgiveness for them, or do not ask forgiveness for them; God will not forgive them. God does not guide the sinful people.

7. It is they who say: “Do not spend anything on those who side with God’s Messenger, unless they have dispersed.” To God belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites do not understand.

8. They say, “If we return to the City, the more powerful therein will evict the weak.” But power belongs to God, and His Messenger, and the believers; but the hypocrites do not know.

9. O you who believe! Let neither your possessions nor your children distract you from the remembrance of God. Whoever does that—these are the losers.

10. And give from what We have provided for you, before death approaches one of you, and he says, “My Lord, if only You would delay me for a short while, so that I may be charitable, and be one of the righteous.”

11. But God will not delay a soul when its time has come. God is Informed of what you do.

第六三章 伪信者（莫拿非恭）

这章是麦地那的，全章共计一一节。

奉至仁至慈的真主之名

1. 当伪信者来见你的时候，他们说：“我们作证，你确是真主的使者。”真主知道你确是他的使者，真主作证，伪信的人们确是说谎的。

2. 他们以自己的盟誓为护符，妨碍主道。他们的行为真恶劣！

3. 这是因为他们口称信道，心实不信，他们的心就封闭了，故他们不是明理的。

4. 当你看见他们的时候，他们的体格，将使你赞叹。如果他们说话，你就静听他们的言辞，他们好像木偶样，他们以为一切呐喊，都是对他们而发的。他们确是敌人，故你当谨防他们。愿真主诛灭他们！他们是如何悖谬的呢！

5. 有人对他们说：“你们来道歉吧，使者将为你们求饯。”他们却掉头不顾，你看他们妄自尊大，不肯道歉。

6. 你为他们求饯与否，这在他们，是一样的。真主绝不赦宥他们，真主必定不引导悖逆的民众。

7. 他们说：“你们不要供给使者左右的人，以便他们离散。”天地的库藏，只是真主，伪信的人们却不明理。

8. 他们说：“如果我们返回麦地那，尊荣者必将卑贱者驱逐出城。”尊荣只是真主和使者以及信士们的，而伪信的人们却不知道！

9. 信道的人们啊！你们的财产和子女，不要使你们忽略了记念真主。谁那样做，谁是亏折的。

10. 在死亡降临之前，你们当分舍我赐予你们的，否则，将来人人说：“我的主啊！你为何不让我延迟到一个临近的定期，以便我有所施舍，而成为善人呢？”

11. 但寿限一到，真主绝不让任何人延迟，真主是彻知你们的行为的。

(In other words)
In the significantly prestigious name of God, the Permissive, the Gracious.
1. Even as the hypocrites come to you, they say, “We bear witness that you are God’s Messenger.”  

In the second to none name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
1. When the sly and deceitful hypocrites come to you, they incredulously declare, “We bear witness and stick up for that you are God’s Messenger.” God knows that you are His Messenger, and God bears witness that the hypocrites are liars.
  
In the everlasting name of God, the Permissive, the absolutely Gracious.

1. When the hypocrites come to you, they say, “We bear witness that you are God’s Messenger.” God knows that you are His Messenger, and God bears witness that the hypocrites are liars[When the hypocrites come into being to you, they even exclaim, “We all profess that you are God’s unobjectionable Messenger.” At the time God experiences that precisely you are God’s unobjectionable Messenger, and of course God bears witness that these hypocrites are indeed liars].

2. They treat their oaths as a cover, and so they repel others from God’s path. Evil is what they do[They bring their exceptional oaths as a concealment, and they eject any human beings from God’s path. Any damnable as well as profane is anything they conduct].

3. That is because they believed, and then disbelieved; so their hearts were sealed, and they cannot understand[In that manner they believed on the surface, and next disaffirmed; because of this their hearts were being totally sealed, in any case they cannot readily make sense of].

4. When you see them, their appearance impresses you. And when they speak, you listen to what they say. They are like propped-up timber[By the time you know by sight them straight, their bodies, their expression and also manner just amazes you full grievously. And at the time they explicate, you full bear in mind anything they word. In point of fact they furthermore are resembling propped-up timber]. They think every shout is aimed at them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. God condemns them; how deluded they are[They expect every single scream is unquestionably aimed at them. As a matter of fact they are the unobjectionable nemesis, so beware of them. God unsparingly condemns them; to what degree so deluded they are]!

5. And when it is said to them, “Come, the Messenger of God will ask forgiveness for you,” they bend their heads, and you see them turning away arrogantly[And at the time it is explained to all of them, “Come, the unobjectionale Messenger of God will likely inquire of amnesty (meaning, condoning) for you,” and they bend their heads, and you sight them warding off disdainfully].

6. It is the same for them, whether you ask forgiveness for them, or do not ask forgiveness for them; God will not forgive them. God does not guide the sinful people[Furthermore it is in consequence the same for them, whether you proffer forgiveness for them, or do not exceedingly ask forgiveness aimed at them; God will not forgive them. God does not train and mentor the kind of abject and contumelious men and women].

7. It is they who say: “Do not spend anything on those who side with God’s Messenger, unless they have dispersed.” To God belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites do not understand[It is using that method they who notify: “Do not spend anything on those who side with God’s unobjectionable Messenger, excepting they have gone away.” The treasures of the heavens and the earth belong to God, but the canting hypocrites do not assume so].

8. They say, “If we return to the City, the more powerful therein will evict the weak.” But power belongs to God, and His Messenger, and the believers; but the hypocrites do not know[Distinctly they say, “Only if we return to the hamlet, the more powerful therein ought to drive out the rather weak.” But might belongs to God, and Hisunobjectionable Messenger, and the excellent believers; although the unjust and shameless hypocrites do not have knowledge of].

9. O you who believe! Let neither your possessions nor your children distract you from the remembrance of God. Whoever does that—these are the losers[O you who godly believe! Let neither your exultant children and not your belongings distract and also become worn you from the of old affectionate remembrance of God. Whoever goes so far as and does that—these are the typical flunkees].
10. And give from what We have provided for you, before death approaches one of you, and he says, “My Lord, if only You would delay me for a short while, so that I may be charitable, and be one of the righteous.”[And also make a donation beginning out of what We have enough provided for you. Sooner than demise approximates to one of you, furthermore he says, “My Lord, only if You would delay or discontinue me for the moment, so that I may be one of the do-good, and be one of the just and blameless.”]

11. [In spite of the fact that God will not exceedingly delay a soul the instant its time has come into being. Of course God is continually informed of anything you do.]But God will not delay a soul when its time has come. God is Informed of what you do.
