66 Prohibition (at-Tahrim)


In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.

1. O prophet! Why do you prohibit what God has permitted for you, seeking to please your wives? God is Forgiving and Merciful.

2. God has decreed for you the dissolution of your oaths. God is your Master. He is the All-Knowing, the Most Wise.

3. The Prophet told something in confidence to one of his wives. But when she disclosed it, and God made it known to him; he communicated part of it, and he avoided another part. Then, when he informed her of it, she said, “Who informed you of this?” He said, “The All-Knowing, the All-Informed, informed me.”

4. If you repent to God, then your hearts have listened. But if you band together against him, then God is his Ally, as is Gabriel, and the righteous believers. In addition, the angels will assist him.

5. Perhaps, if he divorces you, his Lord will give him in exchange wives better than you: submissive, believing, obedient, penitent, devout, fasting—previously married, or virgins.

6. O you who believe! Protect yourselves and your families from a Fire, whose fuel is people and stones. Over it are angels, fierce and powerful. They never disobey God in anything He commands them, and they carry out whatever they are commanded.

7. O you who disbelieved! Make no excuses today. You are being repaid for what you used to do.

8. O you who believe! Repent to God with sincere repentance. Perhaps your Lord will remit your sins, and admit you into gardens beneath which rivers flow, on the Day when God will not disappoint the Prophet and those who believed with him. Their light streaming before them, and to their right, they will say, “Our Lord, complete our light for us, and forgive us; You are capable of all things.”

9. O prophet! Strive hard against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be stern with them. Their abode is Hell. What a miserable destination!

10. God illustrates an example of those who disbelieve: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot. They were under two of Our righteous servants, but they betrayed them. They availed them nothing against God, and it was said, “Enter the Fire with those who are entering.”

11. And God illustrates an example of those who believe: the wife of Pharaoh, when she said, “My Lord, build for me, with you, a house in Paradise, and save me from Pharaoh and his works, and save me from the wrongdoing people.”

12. And Mary, the daughter of Imran, who guarded her womb, and so We breathed into her of Our Spirit; and she believed in the truth of her Lord’s Words and His Books, and was one of the devout.

这章是麦地那的，全章共计一二节。

奉至仁至慈的真主之名

1. 先知啊！真主准许你享受的，你为什么加以禁戒，以便向你的妻子们讨好呢？真主是至赦的，是至慈的。

2. 真主确已为你们规定赎誓制，真主是你们的保佑者。他是全知的，是至睿的。

3. 当时，先知把一句话秘密地告欣他的一个妻子，她即转告了别人，而真主使先知知道他的秘密已被泄漏的时候，他使她认识一部分，而隐匿一部分。当他既以泄漏告诉她的时候，她说：“谁报告你这件事的？”他说：“是全知的、彻知的主告诉我的。”

4. 如果你们俩向真主悔罪，（那末，你们俩的悔罪是应当的），因为你们俩的心确已偏向了。如果你们俩一致对付他，那末，真主碓是他的保佑者，吉卜利里和行善的信士，也是他的保护者。此外，众天神是他的扶助者。

5. 如果他休了你们，他的主或许将以胜过你们的妻子补偿他，她们是顺主的，是信道，是服从的，是悔罪的，是拜主的，是持斋的，是再醮的和初婚的。

6. 信道的人们啊！你们当为自身和家属而预防那以人和石为燃料的火刑，主持火刑的，是许多残忍而严厉的天神，他们不违抗真主的命令，他们执行自己所奉的训令。

7. 不信道的人们啊！今日，你们不要托辞，你们只受自己行为的报酬。

8. 信道的人们啊！你们当向真主诚意悔罪，你们的主或许免除你们的罪恶，并且使你们入下临诸河的乐园。在那日，真主不凌辱先知，和与他一起信道的人们。他们的光明，将在他们的前面和右边奔驰，他们将说：“我们的主啊！求你完成给我们的光明，求你赦宥我们。你对於万事是全能的。”

9. 先知啊！你当与不信道的人们和伪信的人们奋斗，你当以严厉的态度对待他们。他们的归宿是火狱，那归宿真恶劣！

10. 真主以努哈的妻子和鲁特的妻子，为不信道的人们的殷鉴，她们俩曾在我的两个行善的仆人之下，而她们俩不忠於自己的丈夫，她们俩的丈夫，未能为她们俩抵御真主的一点刑罚。或者将说：“你们俩与众人同入火狱吧！”

11. 真主以法老的妻子，为信道的人们的模范。当时，她曾说：“我的主啊！求你在你那里，为我建筑一所房子在乐园里。求你拯救我脱离法老，和他的罪行。求你拯救我脱离不义的民众。”

12. 真主又以仪姆兰的女儿麦尔彦为信道的人们的模范，她曾保守贞操，但我以我的精神吹入她的身内，她信她的主的言辞和天经，她是一个服从的人。

In the significantly prestigious name of God, the Permissive, the Gracious.
1. O keen prophet!

In the second to none name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
1. O careless and famed prophet! Why do you inhibit what of these God has prior to this time permitted for you, by seeking to fulfill and exhilarate your ruthless wives? God is Forbearing and Much kind.
2. God has decreed for you the dissolution of your oaths. God is your Master. He is the All-Knowing and the Most Wise.
  
In the everlasting name of God, the Permissive, the absolutely Gracious.

In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful[In the majestic name of Most Extraordinary, Most Benignant God].

1. O prophet! Why do you prohibit what God has permitted for you, seeking to please your wives? God is Forgiving and Merciful[O careless and famed prophet! Why do you inhibit what of these God has in the past permitted for you, by seeking to fulfill and exhilarate your ruthless wives? God is Just and amnestying].

2. [Because of this God has at this instant come to a decision about for you the dissolution of your execrations and oaths. God is your Abiding Master. He is the Everything-Knowing, the Beyond Comparison Sagacious.]God has decreed for you the dissolution of your oaths. God is your Master. He is the All-Knowing, the Most Wise.

3. The Prophet told something in confidence to one of his wives. But when she disclosed it, and God made it known to him; he communicated part of it, and he avoided another part[The careless and famed Prophet exposed something important in confidence to one of his wives. Just at the time she exposed it to another, besides God instantly made it known to him; he brought to light percentage of it, and he ignored another instalment]. Then, when he informed her of it, she said, “Who informed you of this?” He said, “The All-Knowing, the All-Informed, informed me.”[Then, at the time he privately informed her of it, she all of a sudden argued, “Who had a bearing on you around this?” He distinctly explained, “The All-Knowing, the All-Informed, notified me.”]

4. [Assuming you make amends to God, after this all of your hearts have listened. On the other hand each time you band jointly against him, ensuingly God is his powerful exponent, as is Gabriel, alongside the lofty, righteous and blameless believers. On top of everything, the angels should likely give him a hand at that time.]If you repent to God, then your hearts have listened. But if you band together against him, then God is his Ally, as is Gabriel, and the righteous believers. In addition, the angels will assist him.

5. [Perhaps, only if he divorces you who is unbefitting, his Lord will offer him in exchange wives better than you: lordly, submissive, just, ashamed, steadfast, exclusive, fasting, also believing—either married once upon a time, alternatively virgins.]Perhaps, if he divorces you, his Lord will give him in exchange wives better than you: submissive, believing, obedient, penitent, devout, fasting—previously married, or virgins.

6. O you who believe! Protect yourselves and your families from a Fire, whose fuel is people and stones. Over it are angels, fierce and powerful[O you who firmly and godly believe! For the rest of life stand guard and strengthen yourselves and your families from a conflagration, of the kind that auxiliary fuel is stones, junks and human beings. On the top of the fire are angels, dour and fearsome]. They never disobey God in anything He commands them, and they carry out whatever they are commanded[They not at any time take no notice of God in the middle of anything God mandates them, besides they excitedly carry off whatever they are being commanded].

7. [O you who not at any time believed the lofty God! The present day make not a bit of grounds. You in fact are being repaid meant for what of these you wrongly used to do.]O you who disbelieved! Make no excuses today. You are being repaid for what you used to do.

8. O you who believe! Repent to God with sincere repentance. Perhaps your Lord will remit your sins, and admit you into gardens beneath which rivers flow, on the Day when God will not disappoint the Prophet and those who believed with him[O you who unfathomably believe in the lofty God! Repent and make amends to the lofty God with explicit pangs of conscience, dejection and moroseness and discomfort. Perhaps your Lord will certainly amnesty your offences, and grant you into gardens beneath of which rivers flow, in regards to the moment at the time the lofty God will not excusably disappoint the famed and powerful Prophet and those who godly believed along with him]. Their light streaming before them, and to their right, they will say, “Our Lord, complete our light for us, and forgive us; You are capable of all things.”[Their illumination emerging in front of them, and to their right, they will certainly say, “Our Lord, bring to fruition our light for us, and amnesty and also forgive us; You are strong enough for all over odds and ends.”]

9. O prophet! Strive hard against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be stern with them. Their abode is Hell. What a miserable destination[O prophet! Strive hard against the irreverent and malevolent disbelievers and the horrifying hypocrites, and be inexorable with regards to them. Their objectionable home is no end of hell. What an execrable destination]!

10. God illustrates an example of those who disbelieve: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot[God authenticates an example of those human beings who disbelieve: the wife of Lot accompanied by the wife of Noah]. They were under two of Our righteous servants, but they betrayed them. They availed them nothing against God, and it was said, “Enter the Fire with those who are entering.”[They were obeying two of Our righteous and blameless servants, excepting all of them betrayed and ignored them in a time to come. All of their husbands did not avail them in the face of God, and it was just made manifest, “Who would like go into the dazzling conflagration accompanied by those who are exactly entering and offering?”]

11. [Then God befittingly indicates an example of those human beings who godly believe: the wife of Pharaoh, by the time she maintained, “My lofty Lord, build for me, at the side of you, a house of which existed among ideal world surely, save me from Pharaoh and his then damnable jobs and moves, and extricate me out of the wrongdoing dudes.”]And God illustrates an example of those who believe: the wife of Pharaoh, when she said, “My Lord, build for me, with you, a house in Paradise, and save me from Pharaoh and his works, and save me from the wrongdoing people.”

12. [And Mary, the mother of Jesue, and the daughter of Imran, who godly guarded and took care of her womb, to this end Gods precisely breathed into her of Gods' Sacred Spirit (namely, the Holy Spirit); and she believed in the rightness of her Lord’s Words and every single one of Lord’s Books, and was one of the devout.]*And Mary, the daughter of Imran, who guarded her womb, and so We breathed into her of Our Spirit; and she believed in the truth of her Lord’s Words and His Books, and was one of the devout.
