VI-XI. The Fall of the Angels: the Demoralisation of Mankind: the Intercession of the Angels on behalf of Mankind. The Dooms pronounced by God on the Angels: the Messianic Kingdom (a Noah fragment).

CHAPTER VIII.

1. And Azâzêl taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and breastplates, and made known to them the metals 〈of the earth〉 and the art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly stones, and all colouring tinctures. 2. And there arose much godlessness, and they committed forniation, and they were led astray, and became corrupt in all their ways. Semjâzâ taught enchantments, and root-cuttings, Armârôs the resolving of enchantments, Barâqîjâl, (taught) astrology, Kôkabêl the constellations, Ezêqêêl the knowledge of the clouds, 〈Araqiêl the signs of the earth, Shamsiêl the signs of the sun〉, and Sariêl the course of the moon. And as men perished, they cried, and their cry went up to heaven . . .

1.天使阿薩素教男人做劍、刀、盾牌和胸甲，並教他們利用地球的金屬去做工藝、手鐲、飾品、銻金屬的使用、眼皮塗彩、各種各樣的貴重石礦和所有染色劑。

CHAPTER VIII.

1. At the time Azâzêl fatherly trained and mentored men and women to bring into existence all sorts of knives, together with swords, and shields, and armoured jackets, and manifested to them the metals of the globe and the really exquisite art of working them, and good bracelets, and befitting ornaments, and the use of antimony (in Arabic name generally: kohl), and the beautifying of the eyelids, and a good deal of luxuriant stones, and just all pigment shade. 2. And there brought into existence a lot of godlessness, apart from being they all committed fornication, and they in point of fact were being led confused, and exceedingly became corrupt in the middle of every single one of their doings. Semjâzâ made suggestions to enchantments, and also the explicit means of root-cuttings (that is, takes part of root to go with develops a new plant), Armârôs then disciplined and mentored the way of breaking of difficult enchantments, Barâqîjâl then disciplined and mentored profound astrology (in other words, the mechanism of harbinger), Kôkabêl disciplined and mentored the profound knowledge of constellations, and theretofore Ezêqêêl explained and mentored the profound knowledge of the clouds, Araqiêl disciplined and mentored the signs of the globe trajectory, and Shamsiêl disciplined and mentored the really profound signs of the sun, and Sariêl explained and mentored the profound beginning of the moon. And as men lost life, they all mourned and often implored sincerely, and their cry in fact went up to Kingdom of God.
