65 Divorce (al-Talaq)

In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.

1. O Prophet! If any of you divorce women, divorce them during their period of purity, and calculate their term. And be pious before God, your Lord. And do not evict them from their homes, nor shall they leave, unless they have committed a proven adultery. These are the limits of God—whoever oversteps God’s limits has wronged his own soul. You never know; God may afterwards bring about a new situation.

2. Once they have reached their term, either retain them honorably, or separate from them honorably. And call to witness two just people from among you, and give upright testimony for God. By that is exhorted whoever believes in God and the Last Day. And whoever fears God—He will make a way out for him.

3. And will provide for him from where he never expected. Whoever relies on God—He will suffice him. God will accomplish His purpose. God has set a measure to all things.

4. As for those of your women who have reached menopause, if you have any doubts, their term shall be three months—and also for those who have not menstruated. As for those who are pregnant, their term shall be until they have delivered. Whoever fears God—He will make things easy for him.

5. This is the ordinance of God, which He sent down to you. Whoever fears God—He will remit his sins, and will amplify his reward.

6. Allow them to reside where you reside, according to your means, and do not harass them in order to make things difficult for them. If they are pregnant, spend on them until they give birth. And if they nurse your infant, give them their payment. And conduct your relation in amity. But if you disagree, then let another woman nurse him.

7. The wealthy shall spend according to his means; and he whose resources are restricted shall spend according to what God has given him. God never burdens a soul beyond what He has given it. God will bring ease after hardship.

8. How many a town defied the command of its Lord and His messengers? So We held it strictly accountable, and We punished it with a dreadful punishment.

9. It tasted the result of its decisions, and the outcome of its decisions was perdition.

10. God has prepared for them a severe retribution. So beware of God, O you who possess intellect and have faith. God has sent down to you a Reminder.

11. A messenger who recites to you God’s Verses, clear and distinct, that he may bring those who believe and work righteousness from darkness into light. Whoever believes in God and acts with integrity, He will admit him into gardens beneath which rivers flow, therein to abide forever. God has given him an excellent provision.

12. God is He Who created seven heavens, and their like of earth. The command descends through them, so that you may know that God is Capable of everything, and that God Encompasses everything in knowledge.

158. Rather, God raised him up to Himself. God is Mighty and Wise.

奉至仁至慈的真主之名
1. 先知啊！当你们休妻的时候，你们当在她们的待婚期之前休她们， 你们当计待婚期，当敬畏真主－－－你们的主。你们不要把她们从她们的房里驱逐出门， 她们也不得自己出门，除非她们做了明显的丑事。这是真主的法度，谁超越真主的法度，谁确是不义者。你们不知道，此后，真主或许创造一件事情。
2. 当她们满期的时候，你们当善意地挽留她们，或善意地离别她们。你们当以你们的两个公正人为见证，你们当为真主而作证。这是用来教训信仰真主和末日者的。谁敬畏真主，他将为谁辟一条出路。
3. 而且从他料想不到的地方供给他。谁信托真主，他将使谁满足。真主确是能达到自己的目的的，真主确已使万物各有定数。
4. 你们的妇女中对月经已绝望的，如果你们怀疑，就以三个月为她们的待婚期，还没有月经的，也是这样的；怀孕的，以分娩为满期。谁敬畏真主，他将使谁顺利。
5. 这是真主所降示你们的法令，谁敬畏真主，他将免除谁的罪恶， 而且赏赐他重大的报酬。
6. 你们当依自己的能力而使她们住在你们所住的地方，你们不要妨害她们，而使她们烦闷。如果她们有孕，你们就应当供给她们，直到她们分娩。 如果她们为你们哺乳，你们应当报酬她们，并且应当依正义而相商。如果你们的意见不合，就让别的妇人为他哺乳。
7. 教富裕的人用他的富裕的财产去供给， 教窘迫的人用真主所赏赐他的去供给。真主只依他所赋予人的能力而加以责成。在窘迫之后，真主将给宽裕。
8. 有许多城市的居民，曾违抗他们的主和众使者的命令， 我将严格地审训他们，严厉的惩罚他们。
9. 他们将尝试他们行为的恶果，他们的行为的结局是亏折的。
10. 真主已为他们预备了严厉的刑罚。信道的有理智的人们啊！你们当敬畏真主。真主确已降示你们一种教训，
11. 并且派遣一位使者，对你们宣读真主的许多明显的迹象， 以便他使信道而且行善的人们，脱离重重黑暗，走入光明。谁信道而且行善，真主将使谁入下临诸河的乐园，而永居其中。真主必定赏赐他们优美的给养。
12. 真主创造了七层天，和同样层数的大地，天命通过七层天而下降， 以便你们知道，真主对于万事是全能的，真主是周知万物的。

1. O the sensitive Prophet!

In the second to none name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
1. O the careless and famed Prophet! If any of you divorce women, divorce them during their period of purity and blamelessness, and carefully calculate their term. And be really sincere and keen before God, your Grand Lord.
  
In the everlasting name of God, the Permissive, the absolutely Gracious.

In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful[In the majestic name of Most Extraordinary, Most Benignant God].

1. O Prophet! If any of you divorce women, divorce them during their period of purity, and calculate their term. And be pious before God, your Lord[O the careless and famed Prophet! If any of you divorce women, divorce them from beginning to end of their period of hygiene, alongside calibrate exactly their duration. And be just and blameless in front of God, your authentic Lord]. And do not evict them from their homes, nor shall they leave, unless they have committed a proven adultery. These are the limits of God—whoever oversteps God’s limits has wronged his own soul[And do not exile them away from their belonging homes, nor shall they insidiously leave, unless they have committed a proven shameful adultery. These are the borderline of God—whoever oversteps God’s final extremities has wronged his own just and blameless soul]. You never know; God may afterwards bring about a new situation[You never have knowledge of; next day might perhaps God bring about a newly arrived condition].

2. Once they have reached their term, either retain them honorably, or separate from them honorably. And call to witness two just people from among you, and give upright testimony for God[Once they have obtained their stages of development, either retain their husbands' family name confidently, or exclude against their husbands' cognomen. And call to witness two just men and women amidst you, furthermore present blameless testimony in view of God]. By that is exhorted whoever believes in God and the Last Day. And whoever fears God—He will make a way out for him[By that is exhorted, ordained and clamored for whoever believes in God and the final judgment. And whoever stands in awe of God—He will obviously make a way out in preparation for him].

3. And will provide for him from where he never expected. Whoever relies on God—He will suffice him. God will accomplish His purpose. God has set a measure to all things[Then and there He will obviously provide for him beginning out of where he never expected, imagined and contemplated. Whoever has every confidence in God—Then He will obviously unobjectionably meet the needs of him. God will extraordinarily complete all of His obligations. God has further positioned a measure to everything].

4. As for those of your women who have reached menopause, if you have any doubts, their term shall be three months—and also for those who have not menstruated[With reference to those of your women who have gotten to midlife crisis (to name a few, menopause), only if you have any grim reconsideration, their term shall be three months—besides including for those who have not any menstruated]. As for those who are pregnant, their term shall be until they have delivered. Whoever fears God—He will make things easy for him[With reference to those who are expecting a baby, their period of time shall be until they have delivered. Whoever fears really God—He will unobjectionably make things easy for him].

5. This is the ordinance of God, which He sent down to you. Whoever fears God—He will remit his sins, and will amplify his reward[This is the enactment of God, which He sent down exceptionally to you. Whoever goes in terror of God—Then and there He will grant an amnesty to all of his sins, besides will enlarge his solid reward].

6. Allow them to reside where you reside, according to your means, and do not harass them in order to make things difficult for them[Furthermore, countenance them to exist where you inhabit, according to your way of doing things, also do not vex, incense and torment them with the object of make matters exacting and ponderous for them]. If they are pregnant, spend on them until they give birth. And if they nurse your infant, give them their payment[In case they have being pregnant, spend money and time on them up to the time of they bring forth. And with the provision that they nurse and mother your infant, give cordially them their relevant payment]. And conduct your relation in amity. But if you disagree, then let another woman nurse him[And do the job of your bothered and dithery relation in undisguised goodwill. Excepting that provided you object, at that time vest another woman pamper and spoon-feed him].

7. The wealthy shall spend according to his means; and he whose resources are restricted shall spend according to what God has given him[The prosperous human being should expend in accordance with his means and measures; and he whose belongings are rather clearly defined and hampered should foot in conformity with what God has given him]. God never burdens a soul beyond what He has given it. God will bring ease after hardship[Furthermore God never burdens a spiritual being exceeding whatsoever He has named and offered it. God will bring into existence ease along with satisfaction in the wake of abjectly hard times].

8. How many a town defied the command of its Lord and His messengers? So We held it strictly accountable, and We punished it with a dreadful punishment[How many hamlet or town altogether disapproved of the enactment of its Lord and His lofty or lordly special messengers? Accordingly We then held it exhaustively accountable, including We picked on it accompanied by a horrifying force and drubbing].

9. It tasted the result of its decisions, and the outcome of its decisions was perdition[Then and there it tasted the result of its execrable decisions, and the objectionable outcome of its decisions was extermination].

10. God has prepared for them a severe retribution. So beware of God, O you who possess intellect and have faith. God has sent down to you a Reminder[There and then God has designated meant for them a stern and momentous retribution. Ergo beware of God, O you who altogether have really possession of acumen as well as have really possession of godly assuredness. God has further issued to you a reminder distinguishably].

11. A messenger who recites to you God’s Verses, clear and distinct, that he may bring those who believe and work righteousness from darkness into light[An unobjectionable messenger who there and then reels off to you God’s divine fragments of verses, explicit and fathomable, that he may bring those who definitely have confidence in along with hold down a job blamelessness from out of exceeding darkness into light]. Whoever believes in God and acts with integrity, He will admit him into gardens beneath which rivers flow, therein to abide forever. God has given him an excellent provision[At the end of the final judgment day whoever believes in God and makes ready integrity, lack of corruption and nobility of soul, God will bless him into gardens beneath which rivers flow, therein to exist furthermore and sojourn at all times. God has offered him an excellent dispensation and provision].

12. [God is He Who brought into being together seven heavens, accompanied by coined their like of earth. The enactment brings down through them, in order that you may have knowledge of that God is further experienced and competent of everything, and that God enjoyably comprehends everything in knowledge.]God is He Who created seven heavens, and their like of earth. The command descends through them, so that you may know that God is Capable of everything, and that God Encompasses everything in knowledge.
