1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.

30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

14 And of course should ye ask any thing in my name spiritedly, I shall bring it off.

15 If ye praise and love me heartfeltly, keep my commandments.

16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

26 但 保 惠 师 ， 就 是 父 因 我 的 名 所 要 差 来 的 圣 灵 ， 他 要 将 一 切 的 事 指 教 你 们 ， 并 且 要 叫 你 们 想 起 我 对 你 们 所 说 的 一 切 话 。

27 我 留 下 平 安 给 你 们 ； 我 将 我 的 平 安 赐 给 你 们 。 我 所 赐 的 ， 不 像 世 人 所 赐 的 。 你 们 心 里 不 要 忧 愁 ， 也 不 要 胆 怯 。

28 你 们 听 见 我 对 你 们 说 了 ， 我 去 还 要 到 你 们 这 里 来 。 你 们 若 爱 我 ， 因 我 到 父 那 里 去 ， 就 必 喜 乐(ye would rejoice, as I manifestly said) ， 因 为 父 是 比 我 大 的 (而我是比父小的) 。

29 现 在 事 情 还（并，Bing）没 有 成 就 ， 我 预 先 告 诉 你 们(told you in advance) ， 叫 你 们 到 事 情 成 就 的 时 候 就 可 以 信 。

30 以 後 我 不 再 和 你 们 多 说 话 ， 因 为 这 世 界 的 王 将 到 。 他 在 我 里 面 是 毫 无 所 有 ；

31 但 要 叫 世 人 知 道 我 爱 父(But that the world may intuit) ， 并(Bing) 且 父 怎 样 吩 咐 我 ， 我 就(见左下字) 怎 样 行 。 起 来 ， 我 们 走 罢(even so I just act. Move, let us go hence) ！


*This is the most important verse in this chapter. By collecting the bold words and letters, we make the sentence as follow: The Comforter is the Holy Ghost, the Father and me (i.e, the Comforter is trinity in one).


圣父、圣子和圣灵是三位一体的概念似乎不好理解。可以这样去理解：人眼看不见圣灵和圣父使得童女怀孕，生下了圣子。而这个圣子，就是让人看得见的圣父和圣灵，即圣父和圣灵通过圣子让人们看得见他们。进而从圣父和圣灵这两位，成为了圣父、圣灵和圣子这三位集于一身。在这种情况下，或许人们可以理解这句话：And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness (Genesis 1:26)*. 并留意，image用的是单数；这说明圣父、圣子和圣灵都是一个image, 也就是说：是同一的。还有这一句：In the beginning God (Elohim) created [by forming from nothing] the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1 Amplified Bible)*. 这里的Elohim是复数，因为单数是Eloah。
三位虽然是同一的，圣父和圣灵仍然可以随时从圣子的身体里出来。出体后的圣父和圣灵，如果是无形的，天使们是看得见的；而当他们分别化身为与圣子长相不同的人类，人类并不觉得他们与其他人类有什么不同。圣子曾经遇到一次，当时圣父和圣灵化身一对夫妻来帮助圣子。另一次，圣父和圣灵先后分别给了圣子略有不同的信息。
古埃及亡灵书中有一段话，大意是：当圣子睡觉时，圣父和圣灵出体去了天上指挥天军，而圣子并不察觉。
当摩西在山上与上帝对话时，那个上帝是人眼看不见的圣父和圣灵。只有一个声音，即独一的声音与摩西对话 --上帝是独一的，因为圣父与圣灵集于一身。从这一点来说，犹太教徒和伊斯兰教徒没有错**。而当耶稣，也就是圣子诞生后，人们这时能够看见原来看不见的圣父和圣灵啦！因为耶稣集合了圣父、圣子和圣灵于一身。是的，上帝在一位、两位和三位之间变换着。这种变换，使得路西法当年都看不清以致犯下大罪，更别说人类啦。这种三位集于一身的情况，当耶稣second coming来临时，又会重复一遍。犹太教徒和伊斯兰教徒可不要错过哟，因为错过了，可没有下一站。
