Buddha Pronounces the Sutra of Maitreya Bodhisattva's Attainment of Buddhahood
Translated from Sanskrit into Chinese in the Yao Chin Dynasty
by The Tripitaka Master Kumarajiva from Kucha

Part Seven

"The land of Maitreya Buddha will be a land of pure life, with no sycophancy or deceit, because He neither embraces nor clings to his fulfillment of dana-paramita, sila-paramita, and prajña-paramita. It will be sublime because of His ten wonderful vows. When sentient beings, drawn by His great lovingkindness, invoke their gentle minds, they will see Maitreya Buddha. They will be reborn in His land, tame their senses, and follow the Buddha's teachings.

Part Seven

"The land of Maitreya Buddha will be a land of pure life, with no toadyism with dishonesty, because He neither embraces nor clings to his fulfillment of dana-paramita, sila-paramita, together with prajña-paramita. Because of His ten exceptional vows, it will be eminent. At the time sentient beings, drawn by His enormous lovingkindness, bring forth their extra genial cognitions, they will catch sight of Maitreya Buddha. They will surely be reborn in His subjects, tame their senses, and follow the Buddha's teachings.
