1 And God spake all these words, saying,

2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

13 Thou shalt not kill.

14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.

15 Thou shalt not steal.

16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

18 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off.

19 And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.

20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.

21 And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.

22 And the Lord said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.

23 Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.

24 An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee.

25 And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.

26 Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon.

出 埃 及 記 20

1 神 吩 咐 這 一 切 的 話 說 ：

2 我 是 耶 和 華 ─ 你 的 神 ， 曾 將 你 從 埃 及 地 為 奴 之 家 領 出 來 。

3 除 了 我 以 外 ， 你 不 可 有 別 的 神 。

4 不 可 為 自 己 雕 刻 偶 像 ， 也 不 可 做 甚 麼 形 像 彷 彿 上 天 、 下 地 ， 和 地 底 下 、 水 中 的 百 物 。

5 不 可 跪 拜 那 些 像 ， 也 不 可 事 奉 他 ， 因 為 我 耶 和 華 ─ 你 的 神 是 忌 邪 的 神 。 恨 我 的 ， 我 必 追 討 他 的 罪 ， 自 父 及 子 ， 直 到 三 四 代 ；

6 愛 我 、 守 我 誡 命 的 ， 我 必 向 他 們 發 慈 愛 ， 直 到 千 代(and keep my divine commandments) 。

7 不 可 妄 稱 耶 和 華 ─ 你 神 的 名(Thou shalt not bring to bear the name of the Lord thy God in vain)； 因 為 妄 稱(见称右下字) 耶 和 華 名 的 ， 耶 和 華 必 不 以 他 為 無 罪(for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his majestic name uselessly) 。

8 當 記 念 安 息 日 ， 守 為 聖 日 。

9 (Six days in a row shalt thou labour, and do all thy work)六 日 要 勞 碌 (并，Bing) 做 你 一 切 的 工 ，

10 但 第 七 日 是 向 耶 和 華 ─ 你 神 當 守 的 安 息 日(But the seventh day in reality is the sabbath of the Lord thy God) 。 這 一 日 你 和 你 的 兒 女 、 僕 婢 、 牲 畜 ， 並(Bing) 你(见右下字) 城 裡 寄 居 的 (每 個) 客 旅 ， 無 論 何 工 都 不 可 做 ；

11 (Just because amid these six days in a row the Lord made heaven and earth)因 為 六 日 之 內 ， 耶 和 華 造 天 、 地 、 海 ， 和(Bing) 其 中 的 萬 物(the sea, and everything that in them is) ， 第 七 日 便 安 息 ， 所 以 耶 和 華 賜 福 與 安 息 日 ， 定 為 聖 日 。

12 當 孝 敬 父 母 ， 使 你 的 日 子 在 耶 和 華 ─ 你 神 所 賜 你 的 地 上 得 以 長 久 。

13 不 可 殺 人 。

14 不 可 姦 淫 。

15 不 可 偷 盜 。

16 不 可 作 假 見 證 陷 害 人 。

17 不 可 貪 戀 人 的 房 屋 ； 也 不 可 貪 戀 人 的 妻 子 、 僕 婢 、 牛 驢 ， 並 他 一 切 所 有 的 。

18 眾 百 姓 見 雷 轟 、 閃 電 、 角 聲 、 山 上 冒 煙 ， 就 都 發 顫 ， 遠 遠 的 站 立 ，

19 對 摩 西 說 ： 求 你 和 我 們 說 話 ， 我 們 必 聽 ； 不 要 神 和 我 們 說 話 ， 恐 怕 我 們 死 亡 。

20 摩 西 對 百 姓 說 ： 不 要 懼 怕 ； 因 為 神 降 臨 是 要 試 驗 你 們 ， 叫 你 們 時 常 敬 畏 他 ， 不 致 犯 罪 。

21 於 是 百 姓 遠 遠 地 站 立 ； 摩 西 就 挨 近 神 所 在 的 幽 暗 之 中 。

22 耶 和 華 對 摩 西 說 ： 你 要 向 以 色 列 人 這 樣 說 ： 你 們 自 己 看 見 我 從 天 上 和 你 們 說 話 了 。

23 你 們 不 可 做 甚 麼 神 像 與 我 相 配 ， 不 可 為 自 己 做 金 銀 的 神 像 。

24 你 要 為 我 築 土 壇 ， 在 上 面 以 牛 羊 獻 為 燔 祭 和 平 安 祭 。 凡 記 下 我 名 的 地 方 ， 我 必 到 那 裡 賜 福 給 你 。

25 你 若 為 我 築 一 座 石 壇 ， 不 可 用 鑿 成 的 石 頭 ， 因 你 在 上 頭 一 動 家 具 ， 就 把 壇 污 穢 了 。

26 你 上 我 的 壇 ， 不 可 用 臺 階 ， 免 得 露 出 你 的 下 體 來 。

6耶 穌 說 我 就 是 道 路 、 真 理 、 生 命 ； 若 不 藉 著 我 ， 沒 有 人 能 到 父 那 裡 去 。

3 Thou shalt have no other spiritual gods before me.

4 And thou shalt not lay unto thee any carved image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven farther up, or that carved image is in the water on the nether side of the earth.

5 Thou shalt not glorify them, nor carry out duties on them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the foul play of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that totally hate me;

6 And shewing spiritual mercy and welfare unto thousands of them that one love me, and keep my holy commandments.

7 Thou shalt not take possession of the name of the Lord thy God in vain; due to the fact that the Lord will not hold anyone guilt-free that taketh erratically his name.

8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep and devote it holy.

9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy spiritual work:

10 But the seventh day really is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in that one thou shalt not lay on any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor male myrmidon, nor thy female other persons, nor thy cattle, and not thy stranger who dallying within thy gates:

11 For in six whole days the spiritual Lord carefully fashioned heaven and earth, the sea, and the whole lot by them is, and rested on the seventh day: for that the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and honoured it as a holy day.

12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy whole days may be long upon the land which the spiritual Lord thy God wholly prepareth thee once.

13 Thou should not kill.

14 And thou shalt not play unspiritual sexual relations ever.

15 Thou shalt not steal anything.

16 Thou shalt not tell any lie not in favor of thy neighbour.

17 Thou shalt not have thy heart set on neighbour's house, thou shalt not love thy neighbour's wife, thou shalt not lay a finger on his manservant, nor his female other persons, and thou shalt not lay a finger on his spirited ox, and thou shalt not lay a finger on his spirited donkey, thou shalt not caress any one thing that is thy neighbour's.

18 And all the whole clearly heard on the thunderings farther away, and all the whole laid eyes on the lightnings, and the whole clearly heard the spirited trumpet blare, and all the whole laid eyes on the mountain smoking: and while all the whole laid eyes on it, they were spiritlessly afraid, and all the whole stayed farther away.

19 And all the whole yakked soon unto Moses, Declare thou onto us, and we should obey and concentrate: but let not the Spirit speak any word with us, lest we should be dying.

20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: the reason is that God is come to declare you, and that one his fear may be before your faces, that should ye sin not.

21 And the people stood farther away, and Moses drew near unto the homely darkness where Spirit was.

22 And the Lord said unto Moses, Thus thou should say unto the sons of Israel, Ye have seen apparently that I have talked with one of you from heaven.

23 Should ye not make with me spirits of silver, and not should ye fashion unto you gods of gold.

24 And an altar of earth thou should lay unto me, and should lay thy offer another time burnt offerings, secondly, should lay thy peace offerings, thy sheep, in parallel with thine oxen one after the other: in all places, no matter how far they are, where I record and mark my name my Holy Spirit will come nearer unto thee alone, and I will bless thee once my Holy Spirit meet thee.

25 And should lay thou me an altar of stone, and thou should lay it not of hewn stone: for that whether or not thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.

26 Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy bareness be not discovered as a consequence.
