詩經‧小雅‧谷風之什‧北山

陟彼北山，言采其杞。偕偕士子，朝夕從事。王事靡盬，憂我父母。
溥天之下，莫非王土。率土之濱，莫非王臣。大夫不均，我從事獨賢。
四牡彭彭，王事傍傍。嘉我未老，鮮我方將。旅力方剛，經營四方。
或燕燕居息，或盡瘁事國；或息偃在牀，或不已于行。
或不知叫號，或慘慘劬勞；或棲遲偃仰，或王事鞅掌。
或湛樂飲酒，或慘慘畏咎；或出入風議，或靡事不為。

乌列走了一两天，今早才回来。拉贵尔走了几天，今晚才回来。

Under the wide heaven,
All is the king's land.
Within the sea-boundaries of the land,
All are the king's servants.
溥天之下，莫非王土。率土之濱，莫非王臣。

以上的这两句话，从古至今任何一国的国君都是不配的。以此可见，它说的不是任何一国的国君。
有这样眼界的人，也就是作者，他是谁呢？
再比如《山海经》的作者，也绝对不可能是2000多年前用马车旅行的地球上的任何人。更何况，它是用偈语写的，就像你们现在读的《诗经》一样。

北山 - Bei Shan

I ascend that northern hill,
And gather the medlars.
An officer, strong and vigorous,
Morning and evening I am engaged in service.
The king's business is not to be slackly performed;
And my parents are left in sorrow.

Under the wide heaven,
All is the king's land.
Within the sea-boundaries of the land,
All are the king's servants.
His great officers are unfair, -
Making me serve thus as if I alone were worthy.

My four horses never halt;
The king's business allows no rest.
They praise me as not yet old;
They think few like me in vigour.
While the backbone retains its strength,
I must plan and labour in all parts of the kingdom.

Some enjoy their ease and rest,
And some are worn out in the service of the State;
Some rest and loll upon their couches,
And some never cease marching about.

Some never hear a sound,
And some are cruelly toiled;
Some lazily roost, on their backs looking up,
And some are all-bustled in the service of the king.

Some indulge long in pleasure and drinking,
And some are miserable, in apprehension of blame;
Some, at home and abroad, pass critical remarks,
And some have everything to do.

大约十年前，笔者去咖啡店喝咖啡，一位土著女服务员前来深度鞠躬地奉上咖啡，随后退去，并离开 -- 笔者对这个做法似乎有点熟悉。
她做得很对。猜猜看，她心里知道什么吗？

Under the widely whole sky,
All is fortunately the king's land.
Wholly inside the sea-peripheries of the area,
Each one is wholly the king's service person and subject.
To his goodly employees are unfair together with unbalanced, -
Making me wholly serve on the spirit of honourability and earnestness as shown as if I alone were worthy.
